great advice F&F. Three years ago at age 52, I came down with congestive heart failure. 1st major problem that I had had in basically my entire life. Ankles swolled up like balloons, couldn't breath, it was bad. It was sort of a comulnation of things, losing dad, mom in law in the same month after both being in hospitals and nursing homes for a year+, and just basic life things. I went into the ER finally on a sunny, Sunday afternoon because I thought it wouldn't be crowded. They diagnosed me real quick, got me on lasiks for 3 days, plus other meds, and I lost 20 lbs of fluid in that time. And the biggest thing was that I was a salt aholic. I salted everything and anything. Went to No Salt Substitute with no problem. Since I have had no issues, but I get checked by both a cardiologist and my regular MD twice or year or more. Now, let's not even get into the Dermotologist.......... LOL! Sunscreen kids!
