  1. Thanks guys, it was 29.25" with a 18" girth
  2. After a few disappointing days of bass fishing, I ended my afternoon yesterday by going to my favorite striper spot. After 20 minutes of casting something different took the bait, it was darting every which way unlike the small striper I had caught before. When it finally surfaced and rolled I quickly knew what I had. I netted the big walleye head first and then broke my net as I flopped it between my legs in the kayak. A boater nearby had a scale and weighed it for me, "10-12!" he says. I finally broke the 10lbs mark for walleye. Definitely awesome to finally catch one this size, especially from the kayak. It ate the Jakked Baits 3/4oz Flash Jakk with a white 4.8" BPS Speed Shad.
  3. Bull shoals Lake on the Missouri side. And yes they are great to eat that size, they are seasoned with rainbow trout (in their diet, not as bait, that's illegal in MO).lol
  4. You sore lipped all your fish...lol
  5. 5 to 52lbs. And a throwback to my biggest (50lbs 4oz)
  6. Here's the video of the fun Kevin Brightwell of KGB Swimbaits and I one June afternoon. He did the catching while I did the landing of the 39lbs and 52lbs Striped Bass.
  7. Nothing really on lower Taneycomo. They are in the lake, but most are caught in the "Trophy Area" in the upper half, shad/minnow type flies & jigs and jerkbaits.
  8. Yeah, they are still open. I was just there a week ago. They have some discounted Freedom Jigs swinging swimjigs I was after.
  9. I do believe most of them were LM, some guys might have caught a Spot or 2 but may not have mentioned it. And I don't think anyone went far enough up Bull Creek to run into the SM's. I walked the boardwalk at the Landing on Tuesday afternoon and saw 6 Spots, all were around 15", hanging around the front weedline out from the concrete wall.
  10. There was some current but not enough to bring the lake up.
  11. We had the Mo-Yak Fishing Series tournament Saturday. There was 136 bass reported to the tournament app between 30 anglers. They either fished the Rockaway Beach or Empire Park areas. Took 81.5" to win (best 5) and had a 21" big bass. I took 4th, all mine were fairly shallow, and on a variety of baits, mainly the Spro Rat 40, BronzeEye Frog, 3.8" Skinny Dipper, and a green pumpkin 6" senko.
  12. Charge $30 to $50 depending on the extent of the damaged area at Ozarks Extreme Outdoors. Hit up the Facebook page, or message me here if you want details.
  13. We at Ozarks Extreme Outdoors keep the fog in mind and commonly do not usually launch a group on Taneycomo until after 9am or later, if the fog has not cleared yet, and definitely a "no-go" if the gates are open. And we always instruct the group to stay to the sides and to keep out of the middle and out of the way powerboats. What they do, after we drive away, is their own prerogative. They signed the waivers and most are experienced kayak paddlers.
  14. 3 to 4 ft at the mouth, a foot or so more if they're generating. The a couple of spots almost 20ft deep back there.
  15. Preaches canoes, knocks down kayaks, caught fishing from an inflatable...lol Sorry Al, it was too good not to post.
  16. Of you're of Facebook, hit up the Razoryak Tournament Trail group, i believe some of them hit Degray.
  17. I would stick to the lower half from Bull Creek to Powersite/Empire Park. It's like fishing a weedy shallow lake this time of year. Flipping/pitching weed mats and docks, throwing a swimjig or hollowbody frog around the mats, and topwater (open water) early with the Whopper Plopper, Spook or popper. Spinnerbait is starting to get bit too.
  18. Ramman123 please call me some time this weekend, I would like to help you with these tournaments. I PMed you my number.

  20. Fishing tournaments?
  21. It does wake good, a pretty wide wobble at slow speeds and casts good too. I believe they make a smaller "95" size also.
  22. You haven't seen the Duel Hardcore Noi-Z yet have you? I got one at the Mid-South Tackle show in Tulsa. It's also a wake with a prop, plus it's a one-knocker.
  23. OEO isnt just a kayak shop, it's a kayak "fishing" shop. More of a tackle shop that sells fishing kayaks. Every from rods and reels, line, terminal tackle and lures. Plus most of the baits are geared towards fishing the Tri-lakes area. The OEO shop is growing and actually moving to another and larger location, soon to be announced. In the meantime coming in this week for the 10% off everything moving sale.
  24. The first one I caught this year (a 7 pounder) felt like a tail hooked carp as hard as it was shaking its head, then it changed it up and just pulled. I don't mind catching them. I'm really glad to bigger ones aren't as aggressive, they would literally shake the rod out of your hands, if a 4 ft striper could shake like the littles do.
