  1. Kazoobass I throw the fluke weightless with ewg and a swivel about 15 inches above. Adds a little weight and good action.
  2. Fished the last two days. Bite has been good. Fish are shallow. Caught them on on Rock crawler, arig, and spinnerbait. Most on rock crawler. Can't get bit in the stained water. I had to stay in the clear or green tint. Would elaborate more but have some up coming tournaments. I caught his 8lber today. Good luck guys and get out while the bite is hot.

  4. Great report and awesome day. You are a mean mouth machine. I too had great success today. I fished from dam to KC area and caught around 50. They were eating so good today. Rock Crawler, A rig, and spinnerbait was the players for me. All shallow in 10 ft or less like you said. I even went way up long creek at 5:00 and caught some crappie for dinner! It was a great day!
  5. Nice report and good job for the short time on the water. Ha met time what is the water color like up that way? Dave that is exactly why I'm skipping the next two days of class to hammer some in a crank. It's my favorite fish catcher. Just moved into another apartment and finished that up this evening. Was pretty exhausted on the way down here but once I got here and seen the lake level I got another boost of energy.
  6. Toad. Congrats!
  7. I have nothing against stripers but I think they eat a lot of the bass forage and once they get big they eat a lot. Hurts the bass population in my opinion.
  8. That is a smallmluth machine hole right there. Caught lots of fish there. Good job
  9. You can still find some Rock crawlers now. Just have to goggle them and they can be found in stock in different tackle shops.
  10. The algae is bad in some coves up by the dam and has been for quite some time. I seen a bunch starting to float up last week before I left. It needs to get burned off quick. A few of my favorite places had a ton of algae. No crank or bottom bottom bite you could possibly get. Hope it's gone quick. Seems like a lot got started early this year.
  11. Abkeenan I fished around your dock and cove last week and caught 2 the dock and some better fish towards the back. Always liked that cove. Nitros must be camoed since there was no warning shot haha. Oh and by the way there was some huge turkeys in your yard. Big gobblers with beards to the ground almost.
  12. There is a crankbait bite
  13. The V37 strikes again
  14. Haha not after the day I had today you guys would want me out of your boat. Caught around 7 or 8 fish today between my dad and I with maybe 3 keepers. Fished all day in the downpour. Pretty miserable out. Had quite a few come strike and misses on the stick bait. Seemed liked they were trying to kill it rather than eat it. Wish I could make it down guys and visit with all of you. Family is down here so I can't make it. I will definitely plan on it next time. Good luck guys and catch some biggun's.
  15. Nice trout. I think they are becoming more common in Table Rock for some reason. If you have any pics of her post them please. Bet it was a beautiful trout.
  16. Thanks for the report guys. Good job on the water. You can bet it will be swarming with boats this weekend ha
  17. Nice job guys! Way to take the youngster lut and make some memories.
  18. It's cool they are having it there. I went to it 2 years ago and worked the expo for my cousins bait company. It was a great experience. I will probably go again. I wish they would have it in the south or in California where the weather is warmer. It's to hard to predict weather patterns in early March or late Febuary. Oh well. I really think Table Rock will hold a classic in the next few years. As much as the pros talk about the lake and how it has been publicized it wouldn't surpise me one bit.
  19. Ok guys this might sound like a dumb question but when a cove is facing the south are you talking about the back of the cove being on the north side and the mouth being more south oriented? I think o get the concept I usually just refer to it as fishing the coves on the north side of the lake.
  20. You know why they are on back order right guys? You can thank champ for that one ha!
  21. Forgot to add water temp was 41.3.
  22. That's hugeeee
  23. Well I was down here and the boat was on a lift so I went out for few hours in the dam area this evening. Crazy I know. Caught 2 over 5 lbs and 2 other football kentuckys. All on Stickbait and pretty shallow. It was brutal out there but the fishing was good and scenery was beautiful. Got one of the bigger fish on the go pro but only took a pic of one kenticky. Hands were to cold ha
  24. I'm down here right now and haven't made it out to fish yet. I thought there would be a break in the snow at some point but none yet. I would get out there now but clean up would take to long and I don't want the boat carpet to mildew after I leave and put the cover on. Bummer trip so far
  25. The action looks good but a lot of baits do when you run them by the boat like they do. I have seen it. They run the trolling motor on high and let it hang by the boat. Not knocking it but it looks good.
