Who on here has written full name, address, permit number on their fish?(I bet everyone one is gonna chime in saying i do).Guess im gonna have to change storage tactics this year cause i have to clean all the fish for 2 adults and 3 kids.I have never taken a small fish and never taken more than i was supposed to but i have never written my address and permit# on fish in my freezer. When we have enough to feed everyone then we have a fishfry.Fact is,if we go out and all of us catch some bass, walleye, crappie, and catfish, that would be 4 containers for 5 people.20 containers for 1 day!And that dont count if we get into a mess of bluegill. We use the square tupperware bowls that have a lock on each side of the lid so they dont bow and pop the lid off when they freeze. That is gonna be alot of containers for evertime we all go fish.My dad is a very honest person, but growing up i never saw his name, address, permit # on his fish containers in the freezer. There is probably more lawbreakers in these forums than one could imagine.Note to self-Buy huge freezer/alot of tupperware/and a label maker(cause the old lady will kill me if i write all that info on her tupperware)and 5 coolers for the days that all five of us go fishing. As of right now we have no fish in the freezer to eat.God i have to get the boat finished so i can go fishing.

I use Fishing_Calendar_1.5.8.for Android. It shows all the moon phases and if fishing is supposed to be good or not.I had a gps mapping program and i entered all of the brush piles lat/long for Stockton but i cant find it.I need to find it and enter all of the locations again.

They ate a hole in one of my feeders and whenever i found one in the feeder i would sneak up to the side and throw my jacket over it and take it to my buddys house. He would shoot it with a pump up pellet gun, clean it,and throw it in the freezer. My buddy was disabled and no income so i would keep the feeder full of seed and his freezer full of squirrel. That feeder was better than any minnow trap i ever made.

I think it was made by moving water. Can anybody explain this rock.My buddy found it years ago in a creek.

I looked yours up.Ouch!!!My batteries were fully charged with my schumacher charger with 5amps per bank.Im usually home by 12-1pm and im back at my boat by 5am.Ill take your word for it but i think for $350 i would leave 3 car chargers at the marina and throw them in my locker when i go fish. Now if i had a nice bass boat and trolled all day i would buy a high dollar charger.Im gonna search around a little bit more before i commit. Thanks Dutch
-
Thanks fishinwrench and dutch.Im gonna settle for a 3 bank 13amp for$116.Its 5/5/3.Will use the 5s for trolling batteries and the 3 for the boat motor battery.Thats cheap enough i can buy a warranty and exchange when i need to,plus i dont think it would be worth $30 more for 1 more amp on the trolling batteries.Found one for $146 its 3 bank 20amp but they say its 6/6/6 and they dont explain where the other 2 amps go,so im gonna get the cheapest with a warranty.

My mom and dad seen one east of Raymore,Mo and west of 291 hwy a couple of years ago.Last year my uncle (lives south of Raymore) and a couple of people that was with him seen one go through his field about 5 minutes after 4 or 5 deer went through...In the late 90s a friend and his son were fishing on the Blue River in Stanley,Ks and he said they were kicked back watching their poles and he said he got a funny feeling and he got to looking around and he said he spotted one across the river sitting and staring at him.He said it got up and walked away.Last year my girlfriend swore up n down she saw a huge cat with a long tail dead on the side of the road between Bolivar and Springfield on13.I doubt they are just passing through like they claim.

Thats Funny.

I never understood how they come up these numbers/percentages.How would they know how many me or any of my friends catch. We never take part in any surveys. And my girlfriend says we have never taken 1.9% of a fish.We either take the whole fish or we throw it back.

IF I HAD TO DEPEND ON THEM AND HAD TO CHOOSE 1.22rifle-cheapest way to go if i had to shoot my meals every day. 2.12ft jon boat. 3.river-would be able to travel and not be stuck to one lake or pond. 4.spin. 5.roostertail-i have caught bluegill, perch, crappie, and bass in one day on a roostertail.A roostertail = a sure meal. 6.ive never used flies,so no answer. 7.white 8.purple worm 9.lures 10.Largemouth

Fishing is gonna get better, and before we know it mushrooms will start poppin up.

I agree. If i find a lure on the ground,im gonna pick it up.If i find a quarter on the ground,im gonna pick it up.Im not saying i ever have, but,if i find a arrowhead at the lake,im going to pick it up.Now the guys that tresspass and dig and destroy actual sites and graves, thats a different story.they should be arrested, prosecuted, and have to pay such a huge fine that they wont ever do it again. But as far as an arrowhead laying on the ground, thats like finding a shotgun shell on the ground many years from now.I have arrowheads ive found on friends and familys property and if you find a arrowhead, you pick it up.They say its about Loss of Historical Information/Data,but its not.The fact is,a arrowhead laying on the ground is just proof that indians were in that area. And we all learned that indians existed in school.I used to send a couple of cases of tools and points to school with my daughter when ever they were talking about indians, and the kids and teachers enjoyed it.In my eyes some laws are just absolutly ignorant.

Need Some Suggestions For My Rebuild

I was in stover in 2007 for my cousin Larry"s funeral(killed in Iraq) Sad day!Dont think i want to ever go back to stover. My best fishing day as a kid was at mallard bay.(J rd)me and my cousin Larry were fishing the creek that fed into the cove and the water was 4-5 ft deep and there were thousands of whitebass and we walked all the way around the creek and we were standing on a rock bluff catching fish one after another when this boat slowly works its way up to where we were, and we got to talking to this guy and older lady.I dont know if you remember Jack Tobin on the radio.(This was after he passed away.)The man and woman was his wife and son Toby Tobin and Mama Tobin. We fished all day and talked back an forth and they took us out in there boat and at the end of the day Mama Tobin gave me some of Jack Tobin's books and some of Mama Tobin's cookbooks.Toby and Mama Tobin both wrote some letters to me inside the front covers of the books. We caught fish there for two or three days after that and then it was like someone flicked a switch and they were gone.Id give anything to be a kid and catch fish like that again. -

Thanks f-wrench.I planned on taping all the rails and painting the panels.Im not gonna paint the inside.I pitched all of the furniture cause it was all trashed and plus i want the space so we can pitch a tent on it at the marina.Im gonna have 6 floor plates and 2 seats. When i fish i scatter all my jugs and then i fish for bass, crappie, and walleye within sight of my jugs and it is usually me my girlfriend and my dog so i will never be overloaded,im just looking for a bigger livewell.I had 6 different pontoons to choose from and this was the one i chose to fish out of because the condition of the trailer,it had the canopy, the 35hp merc ran,and it had all 3 titles.Ive got about $600-700 in trade and about $300 in cash on the floor.By the time i put 2 batteries and a charger in it i will still be under $800 cash and i dont call that dumping money.I believe what your saying about waves. Before i go fishing i check the weather and the first thing i check is the wind. And if its the weekend and the city idiots that have no respect for people that fish are buzzing all around,i stay in the coves behind the no wake zone,or just fish from my slip at the marina. Thanks for your input. blue79 Oh Yeah. Thanks for ruining my breakfast.I will never eat cheerios again
