Sorry folks I've been OOC for a while. cape Fair is correct. Hammered them again yesterday but on black/blue with a chartreuse tail or pink/purple with a chartreuse tail. Same pattern tho
Great day. Put in at CF. We fished from virgin to wooly. 15-20 fow. Cast to the bank w a slow reel and they were hitting halfway to the boat. 3/32 jighead w chartreuse or white/chartreuse triple ripple grub. Had a few on minnows too. 11-14" blacks that's hit lightly. 3 of us fishing had our limits. Water ranged from 56-62 degrees.
Good day for crappie. They were either suspended at 5 foot in 10-12 FOW or on the bank. Minnows or jigs with white grubs or white slider with chartreuse tails. Water was just slightly stained. Fished coves and pockets with gravel, chunk rock and some timber.
Howdy fellow anglers. I've never specifically fished for walleye. I am familiar with stockon and I crappie fish often. I'd like some help on getting started walleye fishing. Whether its advice or links, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
4/18 couldn't believe how clear the water was in maze creek. Dingy at high pt and could see 12 ft deep at maze wth the lake turning over there. Caught several bass with only a few keeper crappie and whites. The crappie were still deep with the bass rite on the bank.
We went yesterday also. Couldn't believe how clear the water was on maze creek compared to high pt. We could see 12-13 feet deep. Lake was turning over there also. We only ended up with a few crappie, whites and several bass. How deep were you finding the crappie?
