Anybody have one of these yet? And if so, what do you think?
After a lot of debating between that and the I-pilot i finally pulled the trigger on one. Read a lot of reviews and the MG got my vote. Also for the fact that i have Lowrance electronics
I always try to tell ya guys what i see when i dive.....but im a fair weather diver. If i knew how to post a video, i took a good one of a Buck swimming across big creek a couple weeks ago
Thanks guys, i went ahead and ordered one from universalmania it was about $45 cheaper than any i found on ebay or anywhere. Thanks Wrench i decided to get a new one cuz its actually for my dads boat for a Christmas gift. His hasnt worked for 2 years and he likes taking his boat when we go together and i cant hardly stand not knowing whats under us
I might also add to me this applies to bull. With the pressure table rock has. If everybody kept bass it May hurt. But bull gets a quarter of the pressure.
From a Divers stand point. The small mouth population is 20x the walleye. See more
Smallies than any other specie. I have walley and crappie in the freeze so I don't usually keep bass but if I didn't i sure wouldn't feel bad about it.
Not sure why a bass guy can keep a walleye that are not as near abundant, and casterate everyone else for keeping a bass. I dive a ton and all I can say is the bass are Thriving.
Maybe all the residents could put in ear plugs and they could have another bow tournament but
For gar instead Of Carp. Probably would have to do quite a few to put a dent in them. But it's better than letting them multiply
Ive heard the "if the gar are around the fish wont bite" i think it is kinda like the urban myth of the volkswagon size catfish around the dam that divers are scared of.
This spring i didnt catch hardley any crappie but the year before was a crappie massacre in flat creek.
Left out of Cape today fished about every brush pule i know in all depths up to 20'. Only got a couple. bite was very light, lost a few before the boat. Went to my "for sure brush piles in flat creek and had no luck. fish i caught were on the bluff across from Bridgeport but nothing to speak of...Anyone catching any???
My tach sometimes reads 1000 when the boat is off so im hoping that is why it jumps around. How would i check the prop hub? i dont know a whole lot about it. I put the other prop on it today and went to Bull drove about 20 miles and the tach seem to read correctly, with the new prop on i could run about 32-33 at 5600 rpm's with me a buddy and a full tank of gas so im pretty happy with that
I just got a 2008 Bass tracker 175txw with a 60hp 4 stroke merc. Not sure what prop is on it, ill have to check when i get home from work. But after doing some research and looking at bass boat central everyone is saying that they are going 37-40 mph. I cant get mine over 29-30 mph. And that is with one person and low fuel. Any suggestions. Im hoping it is just propped wrong. The guy did give me an extra and i didnt even look to see if it is different
I fished from barker to the dam last week. Trolled flicker shads and worm harnesses. 1 short walleye on a flicker. Threw a squarebill around te rocks by the darn and caught a couple largemouth. 1 keeper.
i was in Price today, yes sir it was a windy one, Me and my old man were trolling flickers, caught a few short bass, Keeper walleye, crappie, and a nice white when i was reeling in to call it a day.
im just trying to stir the ol pot. However i do know guys that only fish when its a tournament and i always think to myself, i bet that gets expensive, without practice how could they expect to win or even place unless you just got lucky
Do the fish eat them? I noticed the Carp and Drum are thick in the Diamond city area this year diving, Also noticed a lot bigger smallmouth than ever before. And tons of Zebra muscles are cracked open laying on the bottom
I went last weekend, my buddy lives 2 miles from a launch, not sure which one. He had never been on the lake. We drove down to the Plant which was 15 mile. He works there and wanted to see it from the water. The wind picked up and it was white capping like crazy. A little more than my boat could handle. Made it back close to the launch and fished a calm backwater for an hour. Only caught one little guy. So pretty much we didnt fish hardly at all. Glad i have a good Map in my GPS. That is one shallow lake. Would have been in trouble if i wasnt paying attention. Really neat lake
