  1. Those guys down at Cape tore them upTyesterday . 22lbs for the win
  2. Just a side note my motor mate made it anothe 80 miles today, transom is still there. Never saw the engine move an inch
  3. The orange crush reel is great, the rod that comes with is a POS, im on my 3rd one. They just keep on chewing up my line. Ive taken them in every time to Sportsmans and they find a bad eye and replace it everytime
  4. geez does she make you pee sitting down too
  5. There are a lot of Haters on BBC. Im not the biggest fant of every fish counts, but i did watch some today and their footage for the most part was crystal clear. I was amazed how fast these guys are fishing. Hell they make 5 casts before i could get 2 out
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/KastKing-MegaJaws-Baitcasting-Reel-4-Color-Gear-Ratio-Saltwater-Fishing-Reels/183545269090?hash=item2abc268b62:m:mHEJQV3brq3nN17WhxHaCNQ:rk:23:pf:0 I have a buddy that got a few of these and they are great, he is relly happy with them. I threw one a couple times and was pretty impressed with it for the price
  7. Ive never used the SV and still like them better than any of my Lews.. I did get a 13 fishing reel for $99 just to try somthing diffferent. Im pretty disapponinted in it
  8. im on the Tatula train also
  9. The new figure for todays anglers the top 5 fish bag was 17 lbs.
  10. FLW in my opinion has the best live. About half what Bass did loast year. I would try to watch bass on my phone when i could but alway had to watch that 3 minute intro every time. I like how FLW didnt have an intro like that. But i would agree, i would almost rather watch those commercials than a drop shot smallmouth tourney.
  11. Cant put a camera man in a kayak, and it seems this new tour is a TV show more than a Tournament. All those commercials and ads are crazy, most people watching already have a keel guard or a lowrance product or ( Garmin if they are smart)
  12. i did that once, i loaded my boat and drove it to the resort i was at about 3 blocks away so i told my buddy no to mess with the back straps. Well he decided to put one on. So the next morning me and another buddy go, he dumps me in and my boat pivoted around on that one strap and he started up the ramp, I yelled as loud as i could to stop and he barely did. Thank god, he would have drug me up the ramp motor first. Ad he was in a big loud Cummins deisel so he couldnt hear crap. Barely avoided tragedy
  13. I read BBC everyday and never once have i heard anyone talk about Optimax motor mounts failing. Is usually more along the lines of the blowing up for no reason lol. All i know is ive broke a few of those stick style ones and when i did have them i could look back in the mirror and that engine would wiggle all over the place. 3 years with the Motor Mate and no issues
  14. Ive had a Motor Mate for years. IT hold the engine solid as a rock. Ive never really needed my transom "saved" If it can survive bouncing around on the lake in the summer with all the wake boats and cabin cruisers a few pot holes on the way home wont have any effect on it. The transom saver and motor mate debate will never be resolved. I gurantee the motor mate holds the motor much more stable than the old stick style though
  15. On another website i saw they broke down each guys 5 biggest, and the biggest bag was 19 then 17 and so on. Which out of 40 guys you would think 20lbs would be easy on that lake. Maybe it will be better today with the warm up
  16. Anybody hear that blonde girl nterviewing guys call it lake Tahoe yesterday? LOL
  17. Average fish was under 2 lbs yesterday. And thats pretty sad on that chain of lakes. Dink fest as everyone was predicting. Wish they would show more fishing and less dudes talking
  18. That show can be pretty painful to watch. Ill probbaly take a look though like Quill since its local. One of my fav. Fishng shows lately is the Cabelas Handbook
  19. about 5 years ago up Bull creek people were thick grabbing them. There were millions in there. We use to park at the Cox clinic on Ruark creek and walk down to the creek and do well. IT was always hit or miss though. You almost had to go every day to see if they had moved in or not. We had some limit days and then some zero's within the same week. Waders were always a plus when going there if ya have any.
  20. I think it depends on the pack of bait you get, Ive had that color vary in brightness with different packs
  21. Mill creek dock was perfect the other day
  22. Great tip, I dont know my craw colors the different time of year
  23. if 30 seconds of bright light from a bowfishing boat stresses them, they need to die and get rid of their week genes . OR maybe we should be injecting the lake with Celexa. All you ever read about is how stressed fish get anymore. No proof to it either
  24. Ive always been a fan of that color for a ned, its actually the only other color I carry besides PB&J
  25. Im with you on the "every bass counts" Cant stand watching those guys yell giant and weigh a 2lber. It kind of bores guys that like to tournament fish. I cant stay awake through a full episode anymore lol. ITs a great TV show and that's what is designed to be. It just doesn't interest me as much yet. Maybe with the live coverage ill get back on bored, but not the TV show. Im still interested in the fantasy, a lot of good guys on there, and tons of new blood should make it interesting.
