i didnt really start until 2012. We spearfish and honeslty if we get 4 between us in a whole weekend i feel like were doing pretty good. I catch more fishing the old fashioned way for them. Lot of people think its easy to go down and shoot them, definitely not the case. We see more that are right around the 18 inch mark, but we leave those alone, cant really measure before you shoot them so we make sure to go for ones that are for sure over 18.
The walleye act way different, they will come in to check you out, but its usually a fly by, they dont stick around very long. and 90% of the time the walleye are in pairs. It would be nice to know how it was before the kill. I heard about it but dont know much about it. Was it a pretty significant kill?
