  1. Here is my theory...big fish feed under a full moon up near the bank then swim out over deep water near the thermocline and vegetate until the next meal. you ever notice those big marks over deep water, maybe that's the big ones, I don't know.

    I have seen a few posts on the tablerock forum where someone was using 2 oz snap weight and pulling larger deep diving crankbaits @ 2 + mph around 25 to 30 ft which is about where the thermocline is. 

    I haven't tried it yet, but I did try a crankbait behind a bottom bouncer, no love.

    I don't fish much anymore but if I ever figure out where the big ones go, I will let you know.

    An old man told me once that the best fishing is 3 days before a full moon and 3 days after it is over. I don't know but I never do well in the day on the full moon cycle.

    I may have passed you here? I almost stopped to say hello, I did not want to bug you.

      Yep that's were we started the day.  Ended up on the little sac.  You should have stopped and said hello would not have been a bother at all.
