Thank you. Waited with great anticipation for your description of events captured on your screen and read your latest post carefully. Hope to be able to decipher views from my equipment half as well someday.

Hmmm...Don't know how you can leave out the smoke grub - any part of the lake, any time of the year, novice/pro, all species, shad bite is on/crawfish bite is on, shallow/deep, active fish/dormant fish, quality & quantity of fish caught.........never leave home without it.

For a year round bite, yeah, think jig tops the list, but a slew of baits could make the list. Grub should be near the top as well as the spoon. Wiggle Wart, finesse worm & topwater at times during the year. And a jerkbait makes my list much of the year. There are just too many, that's why I have too many rods in my boat!

Super-cold water? As we all know, water is at its densest at 3.98°C or 39.164°F, which I would think would make jerkbaits more bouyant. How it affects fluorocarbon, I haven't a clue. I do know super-cold water will cause me to sink.

Just remember that general descriptions of rods, (M, MH, ML), are just that, very general. Each and every manufacturer has their own idea of what description is used for which blank. On many types of bites and situations on Table Rock, I like having the advantage of being able to make very long casts. A longer, "medium" action rod allows that on most baits. On heavy baits like the A-rig, I use an older 7-1/2' Shimano Flipping Stick with old Ambassador 5500. Very good set up, casts like a dream. Just my 2 cents.

Well, you know OP, folks spend their money on all kinds of crazy things. I'm happy to spend a few extra bucks on a bait that, if nothing else, I have a bit more confidence in, or at least have the anticipation of possibly finding the magic bullet. I know I don't hold back buying best bullets or broadheads for deer hunting. Just the way some folks are.

Talkin' 'bout smoke colored baits, finally picked up multiple bags of smoke/copper flake 5" XPS grubs. Color some of you have mentioned earlier this year. They look good. Now just gotta find/make room in my grub box to store these. And need to get them wet. Maybe Bull Shoals in next week or two.

I have found two reliable patterns regarding fish activity. When I am on the lake there is most often a great lull in the bite. Plus, before I arrive and after I leave there is always a remarkable spike in fish aggressively feeding on any and all baits. For a small fee I can put you on a great bite based upon my schedule.

Saw the mention of Solunar Tables in another thread earlier today. I haven't notice a real correlation between those and actual results, except somewhat around spawn. Have had poor days when tables indicated "excellent" (probably just my lack of ability) but have had amazing days when tables show "poor" (just a lucky day for me?). I know many swear by them for fishing & game activity but I don't pay much attention to them. My "Tables" tell me to go whenever I can.

Hmmm, never had a WWart that didn't run correctly. But this is exactly the reason I stopped purchasing Rogues years ago. Couldn't fix them by any means I knew. Maybe I'm missing out and maybe that issue has been corrected, but once an angler has multiple issue with a bait, it surely takes a long time for them to reconsider purchasing that bait again.

Wayne, you are correct. Thanks for that post. Would like to get out fishing but deer are moving. I have something other than fishing fever right now & my bow is shootin well.

Bought a 6-Pack offer of Suspend Warts many, (many) years ago in colors HotTiger, Tennessee Shad, solid Chartreuse, Baby Bass, Brown Crawdad and Red Crawdad. Still have maybe 4 of those plus 3 or 4 other "supenders" I purchased at different times. By far these are my favorites of all of my warts.

Not blind but maybe not seeing very clearly. If the Tea Party's goals of reduced federal spending, reduction of the fed deficit/debt (which without a focus on soon will shortly crash this country into chaos) and governing by our Constitution are what you call "nuts", you should reconsider. Seems like more effort & money being spent in the process of shutting 'em down and keeping fishermen out, just to show you that if you don't keep paying more & more to government, they will hurt you where it hurts the most. Did you see the fed exec branch denying access to WWII Memorial to WWII Vets who traveled from all over the country to visit it? This was privately financed memorial. Well, they "stormed" the baricades and entered anyway. Don't give in to tyranny.

QB, They look good, vg colors, 1/2 oz & good hooks...recipe for success. Would like to see them in action. Not ready to compare to WWart which has as solid of a reputation as there is on TR, but as always with new baits I am interested. Thanks,

Interesting, in Flysmallie's post pic of wart with no hooks you can see treble reflected in chrome belly. This must be some new technology to make hooks invisble. Is a good lookin' color though.

Wow, I'm sure this will hook a few fishermen, especially in Avocado Ayu. My lure collection has "almost" maxed out.

Don't hear too many good comments about Lucky Craft lately but seems like one of the BASS derbies at TR 2 or 3 years ago was won on Deep Pointer100s & 78s in maybe Chartreuse Shad. I personally like them much for bass for numbers & for big fish at TR & LOZ. Great selection colors, sticker hooks, cast great, suspend & work vgood right out of box. $12- $15 a pop. Won a 65 boat, early spring tourney using pointers a few years back 5 fish 4 pound average. Sold me with that bite. Also use LC Staysees, McSticks & Megabass. Guess it boils down to confidence factor. Actually a vgood year round bait.

For $7.99 I'll have to try one when they come out. Hope it's not too late in 2014. Of course it's never just "one". That one I posted may be good mid to late winter color TR, LOZ & elsewhere.
