You get used to it after a decade or so. Have to push the door farther back and clamp it too, then trim the motor to vertical to get that part in.
Really, if you pick one side and get it nice and tight, the other one takes care of itself.

Yes, and as mentioned above, the 1/8oz used to be a killer. We threw it at Bull with the old U2 eel, a smaller version of the split tail eel. In addition to cold water, they will really catch them at night too.
