Thanks for the replies. I will post an update and hopefully some fish pics when we return.

My son and I go west every year for a week long fishing trip before schools starts. Planning a trip the 3rd week in July to the San Juan. Never been to the river. Hoping for suggestions on fly patterns and sizes and any other advise. thanks Steve

Fished by the dam Saturday morning. Caught several stickers before the sun peeked over the hill and slowed the bite down. Ruby and root beer midge variants that I call light sabers did the trick.

Where are you located. If I’m good driving distance from Bentonville. I want the vault.

I am interested in the rod vault but can't pick it up for a couple of weeks.
