I'm baking chicken thighs in brown rice, french green beans, mushroom soup, milk and cheese. Ozarks hot dish in other words. Waiting now for the thighs to get brown.

So back to the matter at hand. I went out today, post office, bank (drive in) and grocery store (curbside pickup). Somewhere around 75% of public was in some type of mask. I was one of the 75%. Post office staff not masked up - disappointing to say the least. Grocery pickup - masked, gloved and gave me hand sanitizer when finished loading our goods. We're fine with supplies for at least a couple of weeks, but still will need to to post office and bank a couple of times per week. Wishing everyone were 100% on board. But it's just not so quite yet. Probably never will be.

I've recently started doing eggs sunny side again. Kind of a blast from the past. They were over hash browns with a side of crisp bacon and some grapes. Pretty good if I say so myself.

Lovey is getting ready to fabricate some masks from the brightly colored microfiber towels I keep around for fish grabbing. They are in the washing machine right now. 😎 Cannot begin to imagine where she found the elastic that she did. She is not a sewing person.

I have $5K still in equities. Everything else in cash, bonds and bond funds. Gave back almost 17% before completing that move several days ago. Since then, gained back almost 3%. These are very uncertain times - who knows how far south this will all go and what recovery will look like both in scope and time frame. I am not optimistic. I am very thankful that we don't need that money to meet our relatively modest (and getting even more modest) living expenses. As others have correctly said, it would be tough to have to sell now to have $$$ to live on.
