    At -20 wind chill, that ramp would be nothing but ice if it was cleared that way. You guys better get some electric gloves or a case of hot hands.

    I got up about 5:30 to take a leak. Checked the outside temp display and it said 13. I missed the minus sign. No wonder the house was a little cool at the time. So me being the always prepared type, I turned up the heat a few degrees and went right back to bed.

    My buddy told me about his former neighbor who was telling him he had three reasons he would never have to shovel snow again - a 14 year old son, a 16 year old son and they moved to Florida.

    So last night I went to the bar with one of my buddies. We were telling jokes and I told the one about what to do when an epileptic has a fit in the bathtub - you throw in the laundry. Guy the next table over says his brother is an epileptic and died when he was having a fit in the bathtub. Of course we felt bad and asked if he drowned. Guy says no, he choked on a sock...

    Hamilton knows how to combat boredom during retirement. Have a truly great and memorable trip my friend. Looking forward to seeing lots of photos. P.S. I'm taking the under on everything but the peacock bass. You'll beat 12 multiple times. 13 is a lot of new species. And I'm thinking under 40 on lost flies. Even (1) on broken fly rods. What does this parlay pay anyhow?

    So. What are the plans? Who's coming when, what kind of food, where are the fish going to be and will there be night fishing? Any entertainment other than Cody falling out of bed again? We all want to know, so post up.

    Well, no snow today. 👍 Here's wishing all of OAF a great Christmas Holiday and a successful New Year with many blessings to all. Catching fish is a blessing, right? Best to you all, you're a wonderful group of people.

    I'm gonna miss Michael. We got to know each other fairly well - on the White River mostly. Eric's place in Flippin, and Jigfests galore. There was one of those when GASP! my Yamaha would not fire for anything. He had tools with him, took the carb off, cleaned it and put it back together. It's run perfect ever since. That's my Michael. I could go on, but I won't.

    Double Cabin if you can swing it will show you some nice cutthroats.

    Recoilless rifle was one of the weapons in my MOS. Never fired one after training and losing hearing. They are incredibly loud.

    And if it wasn't a shotgun for doves, it was a .22 for squirrels. Those were the days when things were right.

    I saw it running yesterday on FB. Way too cool Bret, congratulations on a great project.

    Just to back up Cody on the gravy - no packets involved. After all, we do have our standards. And it was as usual just a great time. I searched the memory banks and in 13 years with a lot of different people involved - I can't think of even one cross word ever being passed. Thanks to all for everything that happened one more time.
