I have two daughters that are grown now but when we started them fishing they were about the same age. Wonderful memories that last a lifetime. That being said I would start out with worms with crickets you have to rebait the hook after every little nibble. It's easier with worms and usually just as effective. Good luck to y'all and have fun

Thought I recognized the console. I just bought a Lowe 2072 with a 115 merc. Like you say not a lot of creature comfort but lots of room. Haven't had it on the water since test drive. Hope to get it out this weekend.
What about the pit at the I-44 interchange where 44 goes toward Joplin any body ever fish that don't even know if there is any access but I drive by it all the time and always wondered if had any fish......
Those things are really cool it is electric or small motor that runs the hydraulic system that turns the wheels. Each wheel can be steered independently. So it can be put into a vert tight space. See them a lot in the big fabrication plants , shipyards etc. they probably had to haul it in from a long way out. BIG $$$
Hey folks I need some advice. I'm in the process of getting a new boat finally due to budget constraints I'll only be able to do 1 fishfinder at this time. So should I go with 1 on the trolling motor or 1 on the console ( this weather and all the good reports are killin me I gotta get on the water) thanks
