  2. Put both days about 6pm. 4th had 3 striper in just a few mins. with one going 27 lbs. last night I had a friend with me and we had 3 stripers and two hybs nothing big maybe 15 lbs for the biggest the hybs. were nice 8 or 9 lbs. first time I had been striper fishing in a couple of years It was great to do it again but lots of work. Was near the dam.
  3. Hoodler I thank I still have one of the newer ones but the older ones were a little longer and not quite as big around. The older one were my all time favorite top water bait. Most of the time it was rip rip pause but sometimes a steady retrieve or let it set 15 sec. and twitch then let set again twitch.
  4. I haven't done much striper fishing on the last 3 yrs but July Aug.and Sept. was the best mo.s for me when I was doing a lot of striper fishing. I have caught them as deep as 90ft. but this time of year mostly 35 t0 50 ft. Good luck and don't get to far from the dam this time of the year

  10. I went and looked at the spool again and it was flame green sorry for the wrong info.
  11. Mine also
  12. I got some about a mouth ago and in two trips the yellow was gone and the weren't very long trips. It showed up real well under the black light until the color was gone I am disappointed to say the least. I was just vertical fishing for crappie under the lights
  13. I have not kept a bass in years, but would if I wanted a mess of fish to eat. A lot of the bass fishermen that thank it is unholy to keep a bass thank it is just fine to find a nesting bass and fish it until they it is caught put in the livewell haul it 15 20 or even 50 miles to try to win a little or lot money then release it and try to tell us it will go ahead and nest as if nothing had happened to it. I have had these same fisherman tell me that if they hook and land a striper they cut it open and throw it back. To each his own I love bass fishing also crappie and striper fishing, I am thankful for the good lakes in our area. Take what you will use (with in the law) and return the rest.
