  5. Was wandering if you guys can tell me of ant resorts or small cabins to stay in on or near the gravoi arm for me and a buddy this fall. The ones down at Indian creek lane are ok but not that comfortable, and preferably with a covered dock. Thanks for any help

  11. There is no sense in denying the facts, we are all addicted to the sport and how it puts a smile on your face ever time you get on the water and have a tug on the end of that line! So just keep on Spending!!
  12. That's funny ham, just how many baits does one need??
  13. Nice fish RPS & good luck tomorrow as well
  14. How do you work on that upside down???
  15. That picture is fake or it is of Champ 188 @ a very young age. After all he has all of them??? LOL
  16. That is a bunch of fun Quillback, I love hooking into those whites, Any particular way you like cooking them. I like to take fresh cayenne pepper and paprika, equal amounts in desired amount of cornmeal till it gives a little Zip. Got that tip from listening to the Tony Allbright show many years ago. May he rest in peace
  17. Good story RPS, good reading for sure. Way to stay focused and committed. Congrats.
  18. You guys rocked em, congrats and a job well done.
  19. They should have put some kind of a limit on the size of boats that could be operated & maybe how much land could be commercialized on that lake years ago maybe, but who would have known that it would come to this I guess. I'd say they sure have there hands full down there
  20. Not to wish ones life to go by to fast, but, Waiting for fall time
  21. Nice fish RPS, good job to work one out of the abyss.
  22. Between the permits & all the tackle he buys up no wonder none of us can catch anything!!
  23. I have watch guys fishing planer boards down on the bend of point 17 @ Baxter, that area has all the specifics you are talking about, I'm thinking from the point around towards Big Creek. I Have caught a lot of respectable fish in that are over the years just not any Walleye but know by seeing and talking to locals fishing down there. The only problem fishing that area this time of year is the boat traffic, you better buckle yourself in, people in those big boats will come flying way to close for comfort.
  24. Thanks for all that great info top dollar, nice of you to share all that with us, from reading your post sound like you have your share of experience. Thanks again, good fishing to you.
  25. I don't believe I have ever run a trotline, sure it would be fun but I would rather be bass fishing . On another note I just found out yesterday that the transom on the Champ is most probably wet and damaged and or rotten, been noticing seepage from the drain tubes on the back the last couple years, never thought much about it till yesterday, been too much other stuff going on. I am going to take a couple motor mount bolts off and get a small pick in there and see what we have. once I figure out how bad it is then we will figure out where and when to get it done.
