I can say that last spring was one of the better I’ve had in quite a while, along with catching some quality fish at night. The water level was good and good temps as well.

There will probably be fish in all stages of the spawn, Shakey head, wobble head, if on beds try a top water to aggregate them. Windy, try a spinner bait. Let’s not forget a senko either.

I had a episode about two years ago, thought I was getting Covid, had diarrhea and sore throat, then later in the Evening I thought a cold moved into chest. All this happen a few weeks after being put on blood pressure medicine, went to bed that evening, got up next morning early and me chest was still a bit sore. Called the doctors office and nurse wanted me to go to ER, so I went, good thing, my widow maker artery as they call it was 85% blocked. I’ve changed what I eat, use no salt, eat lots of fruit and no processed junk food. Lucky to have my wife take care of me as she does

We were catching some nice ones all the way back as far as you could go in some specific coves, they were in 3’ of water. Good ole spinner bait

Fishing was good last week during the rain and storms, once the water rose I took a couple days off, went out yesterday afternoon for just a bit to see if I could get any chasers on spinner bait to no avail. With the wind today I reckon it will be a spinner bait or crank bait up around bushes, I’m thinking it may be a struggle.

Take equal amounts of fresh cayenne pepper and paprika and mix in with cornmeal till you get the right zing you are looking for, season the fillets accordingly and there you go. very delicious. That's from the man Tony Albright himself. RIP

I have a Dobyns Champion XP 744C FH casting rod for sale. I bought it for Throwing plastics at night but prefer the Extreme rod more. Used it a couple times, not a scratch on it, will throw in a matching Rod Warrior sleeve with it also. The cork handle has been sealed also. $170.
