  1. Trout are in @ Busch
  2. Thanks for the info.
  3. Thanks for the info. From what I could find it looks like I can be in the state park until 10pm, Any idea when access to the boat ramp by the dam closes and if there is a fee to park? I just didn't want to be going around in the dark at boat ramps or by the dam and be mistaken for trespassing or anything like that.
  4. I'm going to be fishing in a tournament in Oklahoma on the 31st, and instead of driving all the way back to Saint Louis that night after the tournament I think I'm going to stop by Taneycomo/Tablerock and do some fishing and probably sleep for a few hours in the car before I head back. I am not going to have a boat, and I know i can wade in Taneycomo by the hatchery pretty much all night, but I was wondering if there were any spots around the Dam that I could bank fish on Tablerock? Probably won't be getting to the Branson area until 7-8pm ish, and I know a lot of places where I'm from the boat ramps/public accesses close around sunset. Are any of the places around Tablerock open to the public for longer?

    CUBS/CARDS

Cubs fans can B**** all they want about the Steve Bartman incident, they should've hung that shortstop out to dry for choking on that Cabrera double play ball @ the 5 minute mark of the second video.

  10. This is the best post I've read on OAF.
  11. Was originally designed as a musky lure, then made into a bass lure.
  12. There seems to be some funny catches going on at the Rock in practice for the Central Open.... Kvein Short with a monster Flathead on a Rock Crawler Tommy Biffle with a Rainbow on a bug and hardhead.
  13. These look awesome.
  14. Went fishing at a park in Chesterfield after work. Hooked into a really nice bass that I lost to a headshake with a rattle trap. Very next cast to the same spot I hooked into this monster channel.
  15. I've used the gorilla glue with the screw off blue cap and had no issues.
  16. I use to work close to there so I would go there at lunch all the time. Spooks and buzz baits are great. If they won't hit on top, junebug worm, jig out in the deeper grass, or weightless fluke type bait are great too. Once the water cools the lipless bite will be insane, and then once the bass stop eating the lipless, the trout will hit it until the water freezes. I say all of this, but when I woke up at 530 am to go there on Saturday I skunked out
  17. I can't say I go out of my way to fish one or the other, but I do have some with rattles. One trip I was using a rattled jig but the band broke during the day. After that I stopped getting bit on the jig. Naturally that was the day I didn't have any other jigs with rattles on them in the bag.
  18. Yep, lots of carp and gar. I've caught 2 gar on crank baits in the past there.
  19. Yep, what Mitch said. You can wade out on the gravel bar there. If you are wading be prepared I lose a few lures.
  20. Had a half day at work so I decided to hit the Meramec by the Wabash and Frisco. Caught 3 short smallmouth, a drum, and this guy that came home for dinner. All fish came on the Ned. No love on the crankbait or tube.
  21. I have a similar canoe to you and I use a 4 HP Mariner outboard. In my opinion there is a giant power difference between the trolling motor and the gas motor. Now granted, it's not a fast vessel, but you can get around decently enough.
  22. By the Frisco and Wabash RR
  23. Your best bet is to go to like Petsmart or Petco, they have giant cases of them in different sizes. I think they're like $.10 a piece.
  24. It was my first walleye out of the meramec, so I was pumped about that. I didn't measure it, but I'd say it was right around 15 in, maybe closer to the short side.
  25. Took a short trip to the river with the family. Was more for playing in the water than for fishing. Caught 2 fish - 1 smallie and 1 wallie Both were on the little turd. This was in about an hour and a half's time so I bet there were more to be caught there if you were to focus on them a little harder. No pics, so it didn't actually happen.
