F&F I thought I would tell you that I caught a maybe 3 to 4 pound striper or hybrid off the spoon. I was jigging it up and down and was reeling it up when she hit it. It was a fun catch.

How do you fish the XPS spoon? Do you cast it or just jig it straight up and down? I have never caught a fish on a spoon.

Wow! I wish I could catch 6 bass much less of any size? Where do you think they caught them? Up towards river or down towards the darn?

Great report. Can I ask a dumb question and maybe a complicated one too? Once you find fish on your graph and you know they are there and maybe even see them feeding on top what process do you go thru to figure out what they will bite on? I seem to struggle with getting them to bite even though I know there are fish and active fish in the area?

How Far Do You Usually Run From The Ramp Where You Launched?

I tend to put in all over from Hickory or even 412 area sometimes to LBS and I will not usually run from any one point more than 2 - 3 miles most of the time. My boat does not get great gas mileage. -
