My son fished off a neighbors dock today vertical. Dropped it all the way down to the bottom then started avery slow retrieve of 1/4 turn of the reel then pause then do it agsin over and over. Not sure what his final count was but a few hours ago he was closing in on 30 but only had 12 keepers. He really enjoyed himself. Four or Five boats with dock shooters aboard came by. Only one had caight a few small crappie. I think the lure was just moving to fast and coming in to high.

Hogs are running all over breeding and she seems to think they are all coming from local farms. I went to a hog opertion not far from here. Those hogs never get outside a building mich less the hog farmer releasing them. I have seen a few really big domestic hogs behind fences that they could go through with little effort if they tried though.

I am not going to challenge about the bass but the dam in the background sure does not look healthy. If that thing is a waterfall and not a dischage outlet ( does not look like a discharge outlet) I do not think i would even want to be fishing in that spot. I would think the dam is leaking and therefore being undermined. I really think it looks like something frozen. There is no ripple in the water. There should be. There is also more runs down from there. Could be nothing other than a snow dusting.

We seen 5,or 6 in a cornfield along Hwy 94.comongvback from Hermann today. They were so skinny they awerecas thin as any I have eve seen. I had to wonder if they all had that stuff.
