  1. good day , but may have left just as things were getting better Worldwide Solunar Tables Major time for Big M on the 2nd was 1:21 - 3:21pm . the majority of anglers I know don't even use these calendars. I'm a firm believer in most of them.
  2. 675.16 and rising, CR 863 obviously closed
  3. i tried to fish here yesterday. but couldn't launch the boat wind had shifted overnight and blew all that debris over to "my" side lol
  4. there's SO much water running in the creeks still, it would not surprise me one bit.
  5. sweet report Ham
  6. thanks
  7. what's the lake temp in the DCarea?
  8. some recent work spook and red fin minnow any other Airheads been spraying lately?
  9. nice report, thanks
  10. 673.42 and rising, fairly clear w/ some debris and trees floating around in the Theodosia area. can still launch a boat off the road next to the swimming area in the Theodosia park IF you can get the swimmers and their parked vehicles to move out of the way,lol saw a couple rigs w/ boats just turn around and leave after multiple attempts to launch while trying to avoid kids swimming around and diving off the courtesy dock which is almost a foot underwater now. If you want to launch there do it early before the swimmers show up.
  11. at least you get to go, my health has kept me from going the past couple weeks keep after it ! you're bound to run into a keeper sooner or later
  12. 671.43 makes it harder to troll now in some of the tributaries because of the floating debris ;(
  13. have not seen any fungus on black bass at Bull lately
  14. they know their stuff leaks, and has had condensation problems year after year, yet they continue to manufacture it, they claim they can't stop the problem , they blame humidity and the weather. now if the condensation problem lies in the gap/void between the display and the lens, then why not change the design so there's no void/gap?? I had to file a case with BBB against Humminbird about 10yrs ago for moisture problems that could not be resolved. Humminbird tried telling me a fogged up screen on a brand new unit was normal, and if I just waited a few hours the "fog" would/might go away.. or I could send it in for repairs $$$, or I could "upgrade" $$$$ well, after about 2 months of mailing electronics back and forth the 5th replacement unit failed and I made the call to BBB BBB made them give my $500 back, and I got a phone call from headquarters in Eufala , boy was she unhappy
  15. 670.83 and rising,,,, here we go again WT 73-75
  16. awesome report, thank you weather got gnarly i watched a tornado roll through a part of Theodosia about an hour ago hope nobody got hurt
  17. i've seen it 14' below 654 and I thought the old ramp was usable but not positive
  18. dunno off the top of my head but I can try to find out
  19. lake is swallowing up the Theodosia park area, getting diff. to launch , but still usable
  20. i picked up the idea from kayak buddies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqzkFMgpWBI https://www.google.com/search?q=AA+battery+box+for+kayak&biw=1024&bih=643&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=N1ReVeT5BuPlsASFnIDwDg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&dpr=1
  21. i have seen a big old smallie, it was sitting in the shadow of my boat while I was looking/ fishing out of the other side, lol when i spun the chair around to grab a diff rod, I saw her, HUGE! she spooked of course i've had a 10+ lb largemouth grab a 2lb white I had hooked . I was hoping she would swallow it but she spit it out, couldnt quite get it down the gullet. It was the biggest largemouth I've ever seen anywhere on Bull. the current bass numbers are awesome, keep your fingers crossed, the next 5 years should be dynamite! by the looks of things ,we have an excellent hatch of bass fry right now
  22. are you seeing very many bass over 8lbs when you dive they usually hide during the day, and feed at night. Every bass over 8lbs I've caught from Bull were caught at night. 8lb10oz is my personal best most bass in Bull just don;t live long enough to get that big a decade of tournament results, and working on a boat dock for the last 16years I can count the number of 10lb bass I;ve seen/heard of on 2 fingers. They are out here, but i think the big bass genes are slowly being bred out of the largemouth population. I can't prove it , but it could be a factor. The smallmouth fishing gets better every year. HUge numbers, w/ a great average size of 14" or so. it's been a long time since we've had the numbers of 4-5lb largemouth bass we have right now, let's pray they survive long enough to have a shot at making it to 8+ w/o getting their heads cut off ;( have seen several 5lbers lose their heads this year, i almost shed a tear i believe big bass are 10x smarter than their younger siblings., if you look at the big bass tournament results from past years on our area lakes it sort of proves my theory, and,you are right aarchdale, they aint easy to catch, lol
  23. 5lbs isn't big in my book, i've caught 20+ 5lb bass already this year, out of Bull. most of them were caught during the day too
  24. thanks alltelracer, aarchdale, dude, please don't show everybody where the big largemouth live, lol took me a decade to find and figure them out! they are rare A video of them could put them in jeopardy! walleye, cats, small bass, would love to see vids of that !!!
