  1. in some places, yes with all the rain we get some of the creeks stay stained and dirty longer than usual
  2. WT low 60's visibility 2' 667.6 5-10:30pm Evening bite has been good, catching a few 4-5lb largemouth every trip. Last night I had 4 keepers in the 4lb class and lost a bigger one. Still throwing the same baits in the same type places but the jig bite has slowed down some. JIg seems to work better with the sun out. . After dark until 10:30 been getting a few fish with 6, 8 and 10" worms on a 1/4oz. carolina rig on flats and points at the mouth of coves in 8-12fow. Same class fish, but I can't get them to bite as good on these spots until after it's dark. Topwater has been good during the day. I heard several reports in the past week where they mentioned fluke type baits in the brush. Be sure to fish fast and cover lots of water with that topwater.

  7. WT 60-65 667 Bass fished Big Creek on Friday by myself. Still doing the shallow thing.(see previous report) Fished 4 hours in the afternoon and had 9 keepers, five short bass. All released. All largemouth. BIggest was 4lb.14oz. Saturday fished from noon to 3pm with a buddy in the Theodosia /Pontiac areas. He already had 5 nice keepers in the box when he picked me up at noon. We caught 9 more keepers and 4 shorts sticking with the shallow bite. All largemouth. Had around 16 1/2lbs, the biggest 5. everything was released. Talked with some other anglers who said they had caught 18 keepers Friday and were fishing a tournament and had a nice limit when we saw them on Saturday.

  10. did another short bass trip after work yesterday eve, fished 5-7:30, caught 7 largemouth , 5 were keeps .2 were short, keepers were all 3-4 pounders full of eggs, all released, missed 4 bites in the beginning on the 1/2 oz jig so I switched from the 1/2 oz to a 3/8 and finally started hooking up,, could not get bit flipping or pitching the jig this time, so I tried swimming it and that's what got me bites. Fish were still shallow, 6' or less, some were tight to the bank, others were not. WT 62, carp were going berzerk! in the brush spawning

  12. evidently you have never been to a ski resort or places where people snowboard they are just as popular with the females ever been to a music festival ? you'll see plenty of chics in buffs there also
  13. don't knock it till you try it i have several, http://www.buffusa.com/wear/ways_to_wear_a_buff (shows how to use a buff) works great for people like me with long hair , it's hard to stuff 3' of it under a ball cap! and trying to detangle it after a 6 mile run at 60mph is a bi**h!,lol sometimes I wear 2 buffs at the same time, one to cover my neck/ face from the sun,, the other on my head I like them
  14. or on their beds it's time
  15. wt 59 4pm-7pm 666.77 Shallow bite is still good. jigs w/ custom colored skirts, and soft plastics in dirty water 3-6' deep I caught 4 keepers on a jig, 3 keepers on a creature bait, 2 short largemouth, all released buddy got a few bites too, he had 3 fat keepers and a handful of short bass we easily had a 19+lb. 5 fish limit fished the same cove the entire time. special thanks to my fishing buddy who did a great job netting this 6lb lunker for me
  16. get whatever flippin stick you want ......as long as it says Gary Klein Or Greg Hackney on it Greg's rods have the "perfect" action imo I couldn't find the Hackney pt signature series online but Gary's is available at a few stores for less than $150 I've got an older Klein stick that has the spiral guide wrap, robert's wrap, it's a keeper!
  17. sorry to hear about that, time will heal it, I've been there get used to being uncomfortable for a little while. I refused the narcotics and relied on prayer and meditation only to ease the hurting. It does work! No chiropractors either because they cost so much$ imo. I know a guy who spends thousands a year at several diff. chiropractors and his back relief is only temporary. I pinched mine standing up from a seated position on the ground, fell down , had to crawl across the yard back to the house and needed help getting inside. pain was a 7 out of 10, and i can take a lot of pain. After a about a month i was fine again , get well soon
