    At $25 a pop you should catch fish on any of them. I hear guys throwing pro blue a lot and that kohoku looks good. One thing about mega bass, they got the color thing down for sure.

    I learn much more from watching them NOT catching fish. How they cast, how they work the bait, where they are in relation to the bank or other structure. Hell, watching Randy throw that crankbait around that bridge was cool. I've had people say, "how in the hell do you sit there and watch people play poker on TV", kind of the same deal, you get to see all the little things that matter. Much more interesting to me, hopefully the TV producers catch onto it.

    Is it me or does it look like Trip is dropping those fish into a tank underneath the scale on stage. Maybe they got the tank underneath the stage.

    Read the article on bassmaster.com titled "Ike has detailed game plan". It says he throws at a waypoint ONCE and he's on to the next. These guys at this level are fishing for a different kind of fish than the rest of us, and only 5 bites in a lot of cases.

    Quick question, would you rather fish alone or with someone in the boat? Both have + and - I guess. It will be an easy answer for most I would think.

    I agree j doc, I just think talking colors takes a way of what's important.

    Why do people talk about color so much, keep it basic . Color is the simple part of the equation. Channel swings and rock changes.

    Went over to see Stacy King at St Charles bass pro. He looks good and said he's gonna try and fish competitively this year. He's one of my all time favorites as far as that goes, made me smile after hearing it. He said a lot of good things about the Ned rig so I might break down and throw the little turd
