  1. Gonna go down there around 5pm and fish by the dam. See if there's any action. Was there Saturday and caught two hybrids. Slow end of the week that's for sure
  2. Been fishing right below the dam for a few weeks now. Hybrids, white bass, crappie and walleye are all going decent. Today was an incredible day with huge school of hybrids ranging from 5-12 pounds being caught on topwater lures! Limited out in an hour and culled a few 5-6 pounders!
  3. What were you fishing on??
  4. You can't take a boat right next to the dam but you can catch your limit of white bass off the shore as well as crappie. Recently i have been catching them on top waters and spoons. Look at others and how they are fishing the top waters and learn from them. Good luck!
  5. I have been to the Truman Dam in the past two weeks about 5-6 times and have been catching my limit of white bass with Zara Spook Jr top water lures, and Little Cleo silver/blue spoons! Early morning and late in the evening is best for the top waters, just walk-the-dog on them. Spoons go decent throughout the middle of the day when top waters slow down. One of my favorite places to fish at! Don't feel like catching white bass? Grab two dozen minnows, and set up a regular bobber, split shot, and hook set up with a minnow on the end and enjoy a day of catching crappie. Good luck!! Biggest one was 20 inches and about 4-5 pounds!
