  1. How's the lower end lookin as of the last couple days? Looking forward to a nice weekend fishing with some family. Will probably be avoiding the main lake crazies, whats the water temp and clarity like back toward the creeks? Thanks fellas.
  2. well hey jigman I was down selling a boat sunday, didnt have time to fish but it's getting back to typical spring clarity. looked like 3-4'. an old boy came thru and dragged a c rig on our point with nothing to show for it. where u guys staying?
  3. That fish has shown it's resilient to be caught twice like that at that age and weight. Shame on that angler if he didn't release her to spawn again.
  4. I wouldn't want their job, but they can't keep getting it wrong like this. Not letting out water when they should, and letting out water when they shouldn't. I can honestly say that because of Ameren I would never consider owning waterfront property at LOZ.
  5. WRENCH! START WRITING ARTICLES! No offense to Neporadny, but what you just posted blew my mind. Your fishing wisdom approaches infinity.
  6. You're an animal, warrior!
  7. what'd that bigun go warrior? she looks all of 6 pounds
  8. You may have a bracket that's loosened just enough to allow vibration from the TM to cause the interference (assuming your ducer is mounted to your TM).
  9. Everybody should know by now to just plan on heavily stained cold water on the lower end. Things haven't changed one bit over the last month.
  10. Lemme get down on this too fellas! No fish to contribute but I got no problem bringing a loaded community cooler
  11. Sounds like crazy talk to me. What's next, limits of slabs on wiggle warts? You're crazy Mike On a separate note, we need to dust off our jerkbait sticks when the water clears up on our end.
  12. Goood night. Which bridge is that?
  13. I'm sure you're trying pretty hard Wrench lol My grandparents are pushing 90 and chose to live waterfront a long time ago. Everybody's situation is different, and I know they're not looking for empathy. So anyway... hope everybody with lakefront property doesn't experience significant damages. I'd hate for all the docks to wash away and these fishermen not have anywhere to skip a jig.
  14. Seems like a scary situation developing. Hearing about a lot of docks with lights on that are underwater... can only imagine the amount of insurance claims that will be coming in. Hope everybody that has lake front property doesnt experience significant damages, and that these waters start subsiding.
  15. I don't think my neighbor was able to do much crappie-wise this weekend either Wharfrat. Eager to hear some reports from the bass guys that were out this weekend. I was down at my grandparents' place without a boat but hit the docks Sunday morning at dawn. Nothing on a buzzbait or spinnnerbait but quickly put together a solid jig pattern after I sat the spinnerbait down. Would have had a nice bag by lunch if I had a back seat to fish from *cough* Mike I'm certain I could have put a hurt on the white bass population with a jerkbait.
  16. Lots of good things going on in this report MOsmallies. Well done!!
  17. always risky when those bigins start rolling without a leader and barrel swivel
  18. gotta love horsing in a big blue from the dock, I usually go after em from the dock during late spring - early summer. may need to give the fall bite a look!
  19. I thought you had to be a dick owner to post on here (sorry Plug couldn't resist)
  20. Can't imagine what missing second place by .01 lbs feels like. One hundredth of a pound making $10,000 difference...
  21. Yeah that's Melvern. I'm just on the other side of Heritage Park from you off 159th as well. I'll PM you next time I make it down!
  22. Hey buckcreekmike, we might have to hook up sometime. I'm off O in North Buck Creek (and out south in Olathe by Garmin)
  23. WeekendWarrior and Wrench you guys are killing me with these toads you got dialed. I'm hoping for just one good weekend down there in between BBB and Thanksgiving. There's been some good smallmouth to be had west of KC, but it just isn't the same as those brushy green fish :)
  24. If we're talking average person (wrench you may be excluded from this one ) I've heard the general rule of consumption to BAC ratio is 1 beer per hour=.08. Sounds crazy I know. Granted there's a lot of variables present, but in theory an average person could blow around a .08 after drinking three beers over a 3 hour period. We all know they could still be better drivers than half the people on the road at that point though.
  25. Oh Wrench you know what the deal is... .08 or above means at least $5,000 the state's pocket. That's what they care about over anything else.
