  1. Price drop $130
  2. SOLD
  3. If there was a lens out there with a vent I think that would help. They are so tight to my face that I have the same problem.
  4. I agree. They're not the best glasses I have ever worn but like you said for the price they're very good. They are a little big for my puffy cheeks as they rub when I smile, but I guess I've just gotten used to them. The polarization seems pretty good....but on one pair the lenses have started to show some wear. The good thing is I can find fairly cheap replacement lenses online.
  5. I think he may be asking if someone has an extra pair that they bought that they would be willing to part with, if I read correctly. Or are they on sale again???
  6. Not sure about anyone else, but I bought 2 pairs and I don't plan on parting with them. At that price I bought a pair to wear right now and a backup pair for when something happens to the pair I'm wearing.
  7. I have the H20 Xpress Bibs and Rain Jacket from Academy. Very warm and have kept me dry on some extremely wet days. Plus they're only $70 a piece.
  8. I suppose this would explain them raising conservation pool by 3 feet and the dredging that they have planned.
  9. *******SOLD********
  10. Yup. Like the 19" wally I caught in May on a spook in about a foot of water near the HWY 12 bridge.
  11. Wasn't nearly that big, but I had a big channel cat (at least 15 pounds) break my heart last June off the island in between the mouth of the james and mill creek. Football jig in 15' and one of the hardest slack line jig bites I've ever felt. I thought for a few seconds I had a huge smallie or meanie, then I almost got pulled into the water. Still a fun fight, my wife was on the back deck reading and not understanding what all the fuss was about.
  12. This ^^^ I used to fish nothing but a centipede on a split shot rig when I was younger. Thousands of bass were caught when I was in high school and college on nothing but that rig. A certain color still produces to this day, but has been harder to find lately. Green with some sparkles.
  13. I like a little longer rod for Ned. My dedicated rod is a Shimano Crucial 7'1" ML/F which is the previous black model and was the light shakyhead rod. It works extremely well for the technique. The new 7' M/F Crucial is very similar in power and action from what I've observed and would be a very good rod for Ned.
  14. This definitely is not the case, I don't know how anyone could argue that KS does a better job of managing lakes. A prime example is all the little department of conservation lakes that have very good populations of LM, I've spent a lot of time fishing some of them. I think what Dave is referring to is how Wildlife and Parks has been aggressive with establishing smallmouth populations in a select few large reservoirs. He can correct me if I'm mistaken.
  15. SHHHHHHH!!!!!!
  16. I wonder if that's the reason for my very poor hook-up percentage when I fish the drop shot around the bridge. I catch a good amount of spots around the bridge, just miss quite a few fish. Could be the gills grabbing the finesse worm?
  17. Remember that smallie I gill hooked with it last week....... I don't know that I've ever had that happen before.
  18. Anybody have success with a Slammer at TR?
  19. I watched that last night too and got really excited about trying it in April. Patiently waiting for some responses on this one!!
  20. Make it happen buddy!!!! Spider creek looks amazing!
  21. My mom went and got me 2 pair this morning. They had 15-20 of them at the Overland Park, KS store, but only 4 of them were the black lenses. The Lenexa store just a mile from their house probably has some as well. Just FYI for anybody in the KC area.
  22. Thanks!! Don't have a sam's membership but my parents do.
  23. Caught this one the last Friday in June in mill creek
  24. The 7'10" H/XF BassPro Extreme casting rod is what I use. Good rod and it can be had for $69 certain times of the year when they go on sale.
  25. Mill Creek Resort is where we stay. They have their own ramp and the cabins/cottages are very nice, pretty affordable as well. The resort itself sits on a pretty good hill so walking up and down gets tiring but we got used to it. We just got back from a week long trip on saturday. They have a pool and a playground for the kids. Its in a cove and while the cove isn't completely no wake, it's almost all the way in the back so the boat traffic is minimal.
