I I use 1/8 oz jig heads slid into the tube, exposed hook. Tubes and lead heads are cheap. Break the barb off cause they have a tendency to swallow it if you let them have it too long, when you feel the bite, set the hook!!!

The elk has lots of fish in it every day of the week. All you need is that tube, if you want topwater fish, throw a wtd bait or a buzzbait. I also love a shakey head worm.

1 hr and 40 min at 4:00 in the morning.

We parked near outlet #2 and traveled 100 yards in each direction.

We fished from 11-3. Caught 15-20 each, most of which were in the 16-18" class. Also a white bass each. Fished buggers in black, orange, and yellow. Also did well on the blood leach. Missed or lost twice as many. All I can say is WOW!!! I guess I'm gonna get used to the drive from Springdale. Thanks for all the advice and reports. My first time to Taney was more than I expected.

It's a darter of some sort. Rainbow darter maybe. Super cool little fish.
