Like they say, when in rome do as the romans do.If you know where and how ,you can catch crappie 365 days a year.And every day is differant, so dont ask what todays secret is because you have to figure it out every time you go.Some of the biggest crappie are on Table Rock, but I dont enjoy that lake as much as bull shoals because of all the boat traffic and wind after 10:30 in the morning.Lately Bull shoals has recieved more attention because of good fishing reports and tournament action.Its still the same lake but more pressure as people are wanting to beat the water because of lousey fishing last year, Take my word for it , all those fish didnt just show up and get so big over the winter.Also in a few days Bull shoals will be its normal cruddy muddy mess after the expected heavy rains and all the runoff from our local strip the hilltops off building techniques.......Have a wonderful day today and a better day tommorrow

Gosh guys, Im gonna pat myself on the back for once.I slayed the whites.The biggest was a 4lb 2 ounce jewel in 4 foot of water at good ole snapp. It was sunday at noonish and total was 12 nice fish and many culls.If you think im joshin ask the 2 guys that where catching them one after another in the cove just east of the ramp.( I had to show somebody dont you know)

DUCK when you where there where they still shooting guns at the moon on the mud bank below the whistles?? I was there for a bit had a little luck but prolly left to soon.

Being it has a drain plug it probably has a screen instead of a filter.I would science this out. If it has a screen Id just drain the pan and refill.Remember you arent getting out near all the fluid doing this , as the torque convertor holds a lot of fluid .Remember also a screen doest always look like a window screen either, sometimes its wrapped in a metal contraption.By screen I also mean not a felt filter.I hope im clearer on this then your fluid.If this vehicle hasnt been maintained in 190000 miles this will probably be just the beginings of problems anyway.Im sure the price was right or you would have checked simple maint items ahead of time.If the price was cheap enough id drive it till the wheels fell off, no since being concerned after this many miles.....................

Plans changed a bit , and my son and I went for a trip to beaver creek.Saw millions of shad, and I came across some of those schools of hundreds if not thousands of 2 inch crappie.If the whites get in there soon they will have a food smorgasborg.The water is a little higher then I like and the banks are muddy muddy .

Has anyone caught any crappie or whites in beaver creek or around kdock.Im wanting her to have fun on a nice day, and im needin a few hints.I havnt been out there in a while and im not sure how close the fish are to prespawn..Please help me.These days are few and far between.AND BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING, SHES THE LOVE OF MY LIFE FOR THE LAST 23 LONG DRUG OUT YEARS

Oh my gosh, I cant believe its been 3 days and no one has caught the subliminal fishing coordinates I included in my last post.....makes you wanna hollar out loud

The thing that Ive noticed is that 2 years ago, The Kdock area and any upper BS issues where blown off.No whites, no crappie , no nothin except big gar and soap suds.Has it really changed or is it a diversionary tactic to get you guys on my mudhole.The ramp does suck and hasnt had any improvements in years.They dont even have a street lite down there on the ramp for after dark launching or boat removal.I usually just suffer through it though.If you see me in a baby blue champion boat fishing , just realize I have a job that sometimes bothers me, 3 kids and a red headed wife,so leave me alone or I mite snapppppp!!

If anything Ive learned in Taney county over the last 45 years, its no one does anything for nothing.This is a great Idea but its also a great money making venture for the planning parties.I wonder how much of this land is already owned by the developers, and what kind of exorbinate price they have in the figures.It doesnt really matter to me , but surely people arent that gullible or are they.This is just a road for this event center folks.Its not for you people that live east of town, no matter what is said.Traffic is heavy on e76 , and I know as Im a resisent out there. But it isnt impossible and does move along at a brisk pace.HOW IS THIS ROAD GOING TO HELP THE FIRST 5 MILES OF EAST 76?.Its just my opinion and Im sure others wil vary.Have a wonderful 2009 P.S. do you suppose theres any facts to the rumor that the state will take over the road when completed. the state highway barn on e76 will close early this year ..........hmmmm

I dont know how to start , but My extended family needs your prayers.I got a call yesterday after all day long out cleaning my parents house (my wife was instrumental in this and I love her) christmas shopping and enjoying the season.My sister in law was dead and the ambulance was still there trying to revive her.My family spent most of the evening contacting friends , realatives , etc.Such a hard taskI will attest.My wife and her sisters and brothers need as many prayers as they can get.Also to great surprise we found she had no insurance.A burial plot is sucured but nothing else.I am not to proud to ask for help there also.Does anyone know of any foundations or local funds that mite help us with the accrued costs.I have been told it will be upwards of 6500.00 dollars for a simple funeral.She had one son and hes in Kansas heading this way after a long day trying to gain funds from his bank.If funds are found they are to go to the funeral home per her account and no where else.Thanks John A Koch.This time of year we celebrate the birth of Christ and the victory celebration of my sisiter in law going home.....
