  1. Here's it's only flaw, a small nick just in front of the rear sight. For some reason the photo makes it look worse than it does in person. And this is the 5.5" tapered barrel model, not the 7. Got it confused with my other one.
  2. Sorry all these are upside down...
  3. Let me know if you would like photos.
  4. Sorry Phil, duplicate. You can delete.
  5. I've got a Ruger Mark II .22 target model pistol for sale. It's used and has some usual wear but it's in great condition. It's by far the most accurate pistol I own but the wife wants something smaller and lighter for self defense while I'm gone working nights. It has aftermarket Pachmyr grips and adjustable rear sights. Great trigger and like I said extremely accurate. Also cycles great with any ammo, I never have any cycling or feeding issues. Solid steel construction makes it a great truck, boat, or camping gun. Comes with two 10 Rd magazines. They don't make these anymore but the updated MK IIIs sell new for almost $500. I'm asking $400 or make me a reasonable offer. I can't post pics from my phone but I will text them or PM them.
  6. Hello all. Some coworkers and I had a trip planned for the middle buffalo, but due to heavy rains the river was crazy high, so I came up with a contingency plan and we ended up floating the Current. We put in at Akers, camped overnight just down from Pulltite, and finished at Round Spring. The river was moving pretty fast (2.2 gauge height) which made it fun. Got to see some pretty cool scenery and catch some smallies. I'm glad we got to come down. Also, if you haven't got a chance to see the springs at Round Spring, they're breathtaking.
  7. This is a great topic. While I'm not a third as old as some on here I still remember my dad teaching me to catch fish on a beetle spin, and a small brown rattle trap that I've climbed countless trees and gone on impromptu dive trips to retrieve. Having said that I'm surprised that I'm the first to mention hand-caught nightcrawlers under a float. Still use them, and it means more to me now that I have tiny hands to help me catch them.
  8. It's not as good as a ned rig. You should be using a ned rig. Why aren't you using the ned rig?
  9. I don't get to fish the Rock often but I'll offer my meager report anyways. Started at 7 fishing the Officer Pearson Benefit Tourney. Had a good turnout with over 70 boats. Caught a ton of smallmouth and a few spots. Largest smaller was about 3.5lb. Most all came on the ned, either watermelon/orange or PB&J in 13-20' of water. The rest came on watermelon brush hog or cranks. The sun came out around noon and shut the bite down a tad but the ned kept putting them in the boat. Probably put about 30 in the boat overall, mostly smallies in the 1-2# range. A special thanks to OMTT for putting the event together, as well as Adam Smith for letting me hang out in his rig for a day and putting me on fish. Also, thanks to any of you who fished it as well and helped support my brother in blue.
  10. Still available. I know someone needs this. Make me an offer.
  11. I don't believe it does but I can check. Where would they be located?
