we caught quite a few and I didn't need a jersey or buff to do it! a stocking cap would have been nice though

Started out at bridgeport around 11am water temp 56 fished the rip rap around the bridge, first cast caught a 13" walleye on coppernose craw wiggle wart, little brother caught a nice keeper football spot on a tennessee shad WW. went on to peachtree, caught 5 -2keeper spots and 3 short LM on "THE NED". went up the james a little bit, by this time, whatever warmth there was to the day was gone, wind coming out of the north, worked chunk rock banks with the coppernose and tenn. shad WW. water temp up the james 53.5-54.3 a mix of good size keepers and shorts. Off the lake at 330. Good day fishing with my little brother.

i fished in the back of the boat in club draw tourney. not the same as being in a big money tourney but i caught a limit out of the back of the boat on the ned rig. after the 4th keeper, my partner switched from throwing cranks and spinnerbaits to throwing a ned rig as well. so being in the back of the boat is not always a bad thing in my opinion.

anybody notice how the swimbait on the jig for Cody Bird is rigged? not a traditional rigging for a swimbait

i would stay away from ruger personally, they are really heavy! you can't go wrong with smith and wesson revolvers, at least .357caliber or higher. nothing wrong with semi-autos, some of the older semi-autos used to jam, but if get a quality brand, and shoot good ammo, you shouldn't have a problem. I have a springfield armory XD .40cal that has over 1,000rds go thru it, and have never had a problem. Walther makes a sweet little semi-auto .22 as well
