  1. Here's a link to the TB video. http://www.tacticalbassin.com/lure-retrievers-how-to-save-money
  2. Matt Allen,Tactical Bassin, has a good video on line showing the types of retrievers and how to use them.
  3. Congrats. Thanks for sharing good info.
  4. Great pic. Reminds me of this one I saw on twitter the other day during the blizzard on the East Coast. I'm not that good at Twitter so I'll have to re-quote the caption. "D.C. is Frozen and the Federal Government is shut down, but these guys don't quit. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier".....
  5. Was hoping to make it this year and meet everyone, but it conflicts with kid's spring break. Will definitely be following remotely.
  6. Disregard. It appears to have moved but found it.
  7. I chatted for bit last night via phone but when I went to check tonight I don't have the link anymore. Is it just me? Either way I'm in, will ditch the phone and will jump on the computer.
  8. Love those love those fat spots!
  9. Great report. Thank you
  10. probably more fact than opinion coming from someone who also did well this weekend. Congrats
  11. I imagine your right. We're lucky to get what we got.
  12. Oh, I looked hard Saturday night and even took a screen shot. But notice the shopping cart is empty.. and it stayed that way.
  13. Thanks for the update champ. You Listed the role players, how about the lead?...?
  14. I had an encounter with the same dogs this spring. One can swim well. The other not so much and makes a hell of a commotion.
  15. I caught a few on a jig this am. All SM and only one keeper. Good luck. Let us know how you do.
  16. Fished for a few hours early. Caught 8 short fish, one barely legal and one decent keeper. Most on a wart. All Smallmouth. Couldn't get bit on the spinnerbait. One each on Ned and Mark Davis menace rig. All were shallow in gravel stretches between bushes. Can't keep from thinking the quality bite may have been in front of the bushes with a jig but was having fun with the wart, and the clock was ticking as each wake boat and jet ski came around the corner. Be safe out there. Water patrol seems to be busy as I write this. Last sighting included lights and sirens with urgency.
  17. Pleasure boats were out much earlier than normal in the Dam area.
  18. Sounded like a great morning Donna. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Good stuff enforcer. Keep us posted on the rest of your trip.
  20. Congrats Alex! I'm the opposite. I can usually scrounge some up on jigs but have hard time on crank baits. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Great report! Thanks for sharing.
  22. A follow up to rest of the weekend....1 decent KB in the shade of a deep dock yesterday afternoon on the drop shot. One good LM last night on a jig and one more KB on a white spoon this am. Regarding the night trip, I fished for 2.5 hrs and lost 2 others at the boat with a couple other hits that I didn't connect with. Had to drag it keeping constant contact with the bottom to get hit.
  23. Fished last night from 10-1 and got skunked....less a 5lb catfish I foul hooked with a jig. Pretty frustrating. Fished this morning until 10 and caught 7. All SM with none worthy of pics. 2 on ned the others on a drop shot. Most were caught just before the pleasure boats came out. Color change from watermelon to blue/silver made a difference. Fish were in 19' on a gravel taper. Gonna ditch this area to fish for KB's the rest of the weekend in more usual KB spots.
  24. People visit this forum to provide information, request information, get positive reinforcement or negative reinforcement. For whatever reason you seem to prefer the later. I actually enjoyed the pics and if put in context could have started a fun topic.
  25. I can't speak from recent experience as it's been a few weeks, but I personally would be drop shotting or dragging shakes heads. Good luck and let us know how you do.
