Not at all. You would just have a little drive every month. You can fish with any partner, or alone. Every tournament has a winner, then each members points for each tournament are added up individually for year end standings. So your actually fishing against the guy in your boat for year end points, but with him to win that tournaments money.

That would be sweet. But think about it, what would their sponsors, the people who pay their way, think if an average Joe beat them? Even if he beat them just once out of every 8 tourneys. Regular Joe would be gettin' a new bright colored, all logo'ed up jersey with their name on the back. Then he would be just like them.

Haha. I have been telling people to register the day of at the ramp. I have had roughly 10 so far interested without advertising other than on this site. I have flyers to take to a few places in March to spread the word.

Last year during the BP spring fishing event they had that unit on sale 1/2 price with free install, so I bought one and had the Service Pro's there install. Andy did a great job "he's a member here". I used that unit ALOT for the past year. I didn't find anything that I disliked about it. I researched beforehand and knew I didn't need chirp so this unit fit my needs. Crystal clear screen, ease of use, etc. I most likely will be buying 2 here soon of the same.

Looks like 1997 was the last year for this cowl. Reason for asking is I'm picking up a 2012 Xpress 17' aluminum bass boat this weekend that was a leftover from a boat dealership closing the doors. The current owner bought it new and the only motor the shop had on hand that would work on the 2012 boat is this Evinrude. The owner watched them un-crate the motor and install it on his boat at the time of purchase. He stated he bought it in late 2013 and has since put 4 hours on the motor/boat, and looking at both, I would say he is correct. Not a single scratch on either, I mean none. He had it fully serviced in Nov. and had it hooked to the hose last week. Everything operates as it should. Going to try and locate a newer 60 horse and se if I can trade this one in.

I think I may have found my answer. Looks like the 95's and 1996 had this cowl. Going to look to see when they changed to the next cowl design.
