  1. Where ya from? Maybe I can meet up with ya and show you a few areas sometime. If if your coming from the south, I would try the Ruark ramp. This is where our tourneys are out of, and a great area to fish, and easy ride to anywhere else with tons of parking, great 4 lane ramp with dock. It's one of the best camping areas also.

Couldn't get vids to work D, but sounds like you had a great time. Good score on those lures also.
  3. I've been a frequent flyer to Stockton for the past 20 years. I've been fishing TR pretty hard the past 14 months or so.. When it comes to quality and numbers, Stockton will out fish TR every time. This isn't just my opinion, but that of some of my close tourney buddies. As stated, Stockton can be a nightmare when the wind kicks up. TR has lots of bluffs to block the wind, and provide you with a way out of it, but not Stockton. Stockton has about every type of structure that a bass fisherman could ask for. The fish numbers of all species are doing very well. What has worked for you at TR will work on Stockton for the most part. You will have to change things up a bit. Get familiar with Stockton, find areas that look good to you, and start catching fish. It is a Great Lake that has some hogs in it. Are you fishing out of a glass boat?
  4. Jack Links filming another Sasquatch commercial?
  5. Nice to hear the health is good. A new, or new to you boat usually helps us feel better. Looks like a nice, fish able rig.
  6. Nice chunks. Ducking the rain under a dock is always a good time to eat a snickers and refuel for the next action.
  7. Would that cross be a slower hull "Ranger" and cheaper topside "Nitro", or better storage"Ranger"and faster hull "Nitro"? Those Rangers like to plow. I've owned 2 of them, pre-1997.
  8. That was good.
  9. Nice catches. Like m&m said, the top water bite isn't to far off.
  10. Is that a factory installed mount? If so maybe a look at a Ranger Boats site may help. Are your intentions to replace it as it looks broken? If so maybe a RAM mount would fit that area well. I'm sure someone here will have an answer on that mount.
  11. Your catching 8" fish? Want to share those spots with me? I promise not to tell a soul. That would be a 2" growth to those I catch. No im not. Planning on hitting Grand in Ok. Friday and chores Saturday with maybe 2 hours around Aunts Creek area.
  12. Mac, You fishing the Bash this weekend?
  13. 300 boats isn't that many, but when you add the weekend anglers, the pleasure boaters that are out already, the pontoon'ers, and the other tournaments on the lake, that extra 300+ boats makes it pretty obvious they are there. Especially by the dam/Long Creek areas. I have several buds fishing the Bash, and even considered it myself a few times, but with a trip coming up to the dunes in OK. With the ATV's, I thought I better get the yard up to par, the ATV's checked out, trailers looked over.....Oh don't get me wrong, I will be on the water this weekend, just not long enough to be in the way of those with money on the line. Good luck to those trying to win that beautiful Z18.
  14. People will be pretty tight lipped due to the Big Bass Bash this weekend. I would say, look on Google maps at the area you intend to fish, look for gravel points, secondary points, anything with rock, and have fun.
  15. Our last tournament we have a BBQ, give-aways, announce the champion, etc.
  16. Thanks D. My goal was to get a group of guys together that felt like they couldn't compete against the guys in the glass boats, and give them an avenue to still get to compete against others with the same type of rigs. We had a great tourney Sat. out of Aunts Creek. Weather was perfect. Dadakota, No Facebook account needed to join us, it is a way to keep updated on our group tho. Here is a flyer we have posted on our Facebook page. If you need more info, let me know.
  17. Are you wanting storage lids built, and you install? Are you looking to have all of the work farmed out? Little more detail and I'm sure we can help ya.
  18. Haha. Epic
  19. Phil gave them out at the OA Tourney.
  20. That's the plan fo the tourney tomorrow. Going to adjust from mid depths in the morning to shallow as the water warms.
  21. I have some baits that REALLY resemble those Jol. Lol
  22. Thanks Bill. That Rig just doesn't do me very well, so I stay with what I know. Briefly chatted with another guy trolling past me that was throwing it, and said he had caught a few decent fish with it near the dock we were working past each other by. This cold snap will do something to the fish. Most likely push them out just a tad. Marcus, we heard 2 gobbles in that area. Those were the first birds I have heard this spring. Good luck hunting. We will be out in our blind also. You can always hunt til 1, then fish til dark. Full days in the outdoors. Nothing better.
  23. Holler when your down there Marcus and we will hook up and attempt to locate some of those elusive 9+ pounders.
  24. I'm going to try to get out Friday. Sat. we launch for tourney at 7. Hoping to have something figured out by then. Looks like a cold front tomorrow into Friday. Saturday looks pretty good. Think I need to back off to a little deeper water to find the good ones.
  25. No I didn't cheese. I have thrown that thing probably a total of 3 hours in the past few weeks "only time ever using one" and have never caught a fish, so I stick to the things I'm kinda confident in. I read and see guys chunkin them and catching fish, but I must be doing it all wrong, because the fish run the opposite way. Of course it could be my choice of baits I have on. Yes rps, in the main lake it was nasty today. It's supposed to die down for the weekend.
