Someone gets out of there vehicle in your parking lot and steps in a pothole or some kind of uneven ground and falls and breaks a leg or arm you can almost bet your getting sued. The guides boats is there place of business, wave hits a boat and customer falls in boat and gets hurt you better have insurance. People today are sue happy and will sue you in a blink of an eye.
Sounds like a good time..sorry i didn't make it...but with all the rain i got yesterday i didn't feel like getting my truck stuck in the yard trying to get boat out..boat sits outside covered and just walking in my yard i was sinking in about an inch.
I paid 1300 for my 1989 17'6" champion boat motor and trailer and i have put probably 2,000 in it, it's not the fanciest or prettiest or the fastest boat out there but it works and the best part it's paid for.....lol
Good luck with that..i went to cape fair today(non fishing) and both sides of the bridgeport boat ramps where full....talked to a fella today and he said Wednesday they where so thick up river you had to play dodge ball and couldnt run much faster than 15 mph...lol...i dont think anyone works around here anymore...lol
Sonars are like smartphones and computers, each product has there own +'s and -'s and in 6 months there will be some kind of new technology brought out in the units. I bought my helix 7 8 months ago and now they have a new and improved helix models out. Sometime this summer im going to be updating my console unit so i will be in the same boat looking for the best of the best in my price range.
I was thinking about a garmin unit when i was looking and one day i stopped by Bass Pro and looked at the sonars and i saw how much more crisp the picture on the helix was, thats when i decides to get a helix 7....if you can go look at the units...
