Old thread, but I have reason to bump it. Picked up a new to me boat over the weekend. Have my brother coming in from Alabama tomorrow. Tilt/trim wasn’t working. I’m in KC trying to get to the lake. Wrench took the time to give me some pointers on how to get er back in action. Thanks Wrench. X2. Im glad someone came out and said it. I love LOZ, but it can be overwhelming. If OP is used to north woods walleye and wants predominant fishing, I would not stay in Osage beach.

Looking to have a little maintenance done on the boat and looking for some shop referrals. I'm in sunrise beach, so preferably in that area but can travel if needed. just looking for impeller/water pump, including prop shaft seals, etc.. Getting some water in lower unit. and couple minor electrical things like navigation lights, live well/ recirc pumps. thanks

Plug, you fishing that trick worm on the bottom at the docks, or retrieve it along side? I used to be able to catch fish in the wells and along side docks...but haven't been able to get that going. Appreciate the tips

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I think the magnum worm on a 1/4 oz bullet is just too much during the heat of the day. Who knows. Maybe I'll try downsizing a little bit to slow the fall down. Thanks

Don't post often. Seems like the board has slowed down, but I can't complain if I don' t contribute. So here goes. strike King 5xd in sexy shad produced for me on mainlake points. Fishing seemed to slow down throughout the weekend. Knocked offa big walleye at the boat with my net and had a 4-5 lb lmb free himself by bumping into the TM. Caught 5 or 6 keepers every day, but nothing to brag about...pretty hot and tough. looking for some tips. Had zero luck fishing dock with 10" power worm. Any tips on which docks and baits to use. thanks and good luck

Wkndwarrior, wonder what that same lake map would look like if you overlayed number of fisherman? You think 50% of entries fished btw bagnel and Shawnee bend?
