  1. I have a friend who owns an Alumaweld, outstanding boat no plastic, or fiberglass in that thing. It is built like a tank, he traded his Lund in on it, if that says anything.
  2. I was thinking that when everyone is throwing a stick this might be different, I can't wait to try them on the walleye this winter.
  3. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Ima_Suspending_Vibration_Lipless_Crankbait/descpage-ISV.html?from=Google&gclid=CjwKCAjwoMPcBRAWEiwAiAqZh8PgFI2iS4ScfbeJO2WTwNu5C65iu9DRTUK6HcYomHPZybQyfOlYjRoCdCEQAvD_BwE Just wondering how they work ? It looks good.
  4. Is the structure scan lss2 box for sale too?
  5. I think those lures are older than I and still working !
  6. I have been thinking about building a fishing pontoon, center console, low railing, big motor, pedestal seats, etc. I have seen tritoon with storage in the center log. Thinking...
  7. Yep, I can't keep the things alive without the "bonk". I don't use and electric knife or a fancy cooler, but I would if I had Linder's sponsor ! I do like their show !
  8. Outstanding !
  9. When I was a kid I found several in the Finnly river. I am not sure what species but they were many and concentrated in certain areas.
  10. Interesting thread, I throw a spoon at walleye a lot, many times I feel like the walleye feed under the spots. It happens so frequently, that when I see feeding spots on the graph, I try to get a spoon under them, which can be tough unless you cast beyond them. So maybe the 2 species tend to hang together. And I also gave up a way to pattern them, there you go. I like the trouble shooting aspect of most of this thread. Thanks
  11. Make sure your car is locked. it is better than it used to be but there is still a rough crowd that runs around down there.
  12. no problem, hope it helps, I was basically drift fishing.
  13. About 20 to 25 ft deep, less than .8 mph 1/4 jig, just off the bottom. No dipsy.
  14. It might take the fun out of it for you. A guide from the tablerock forum told me that guiding is not fishing, it's work. He said that he could not wait until he retired so he could fish. I don't know about all that. I think that he has been doing it a while. I would feel terrible if I could not make the fish bite. I love seeing people be successful, but there are days like yesterday 8/26/2018 that are just tough. If a guy could have some customers on the hook, then call when the bite was good it would be great. I don't know how it all works? I wouldn't want someone sore at me if I couldn't make the fish bite. Just thinking
  15. Yes, they were thinner than normal, assuming them to be young males. They seemed healthy enough. Thank you
  16. Here is my theory...big fish feed under a full moon up near the bank then swim out over deep water near the thermocline and vegetate until the next meal. you ever notice those big marks over deep water, maybe that's the big ones, I don't know.

I have seen a few posts on the tablerock forum where someone was using 2 oz snap weight and pulling larger deep diving crankbaits @ 2 + mph around 25 to 30 ft which is about where the thermocline is.

I haven't tried it yet, but I did try a crankbait behind a bottom bouncer, no love.

I don't fish much anymore but if I ever figure out where the big ones go, I will let you know.

An old man told me once that the best fishing is 3 days before a full moon and 3 days after it is over. I don't know but I never do well in the day on the full moon cycle.

I may have passed you here? I almost stopped to say hello, I did not want to bug you.

  17. I think the full moon slows the day time bite, but it was nice to get out. Got these strolling this jig.
  18. Yep, thought that I passed you today. I have the same kind of day.
  19. It sounds like the affect is pretty far north. This thread started as informative, then quickly digressed into something else, I don't understand some of these guys?? I will be very interested to find out what is killing fish. Anyway it doesn't look like it has hurt your walleye fishing, you are doing great ! I need lessons.
  20. So did any one figure out why? Is it oxygen or what ?
  21. Wow ! Very nice !
  22. I have walleye on the brain, they like those drop offs.
  23. My bad I was giving walleye fishing tips, sorry.
  24. Rocky points near channel swings, usually 18 ft is the number but I think it is near the mid 20s this year. There are fish on the flats but most of us fish the brake where it drops off into a channel, I would not even worry about finding them on the graph, fish habit. As RPS mentioned where the thermocline meet a rocky brake is the magic on Stockton. If that dosen't work I move to secondary points. You will not find many on the graph they hung the bottom so close. I hope that helps.
  25. Thanks for the pics and info to everyone. I would love to catch a 10 lb + walleye from ANY Missouri lake. I am glad that we have them (lake, and walleye) if my boat doesn't sell i would love to say that i have fished all of our lakes.
