  1. Yes Bink's what a fun bite !
  2. That is funny, great job figuring them out, what color wart where you using? My wife buys the crazy chrome pinky greeny looking colors. I said that will never work. That is why I fish with pink spinners offen, she thought it was pretty, then it worked. Humility is never far away. Oh by the way, if you are giving walleye catching lessons, sign me up ! A friend told me, when the boat traffic get thick walleye go for cover ie brushy lake edges and timber. I hope to find out first hand some day.
  3. All great advice, throwing into the current is the best advice for any jig,and slack water I think. I have caught small mouth on a fast retrieve, thinking that I was out of the zone, reeling in for the next cast. I use a cheap walmart 1/8oz jig and half of a strikeking zero it works great. Here is one trick...If you see some slack water on the other side of the creek throw over the current while holding your rod high, just let the jig fall in the slower water, as your line touches the current it will pull the jig (ned) out into the faster water, many times they will pick it up. Nice fish pic's above
  4. You are right I don't think the spoon will work in the cold water unless I just dangle it with a minnow. I am not really worried about the means just the catch. I will probably be throwing a jerk bait or a jig when the temps get low. For now I am having a blast with the spoon, can you tell
  5. Thank John. It works pretty well and it is paid for.
  6. I guess I will give it a go again this year,(a walleye in each month from Stockton) this is one of eleven for July, all on a spoon, this one still lives in the lake.
  7. I caught 11 out of that four keepers only have proof of one, due to a camera lens that kept fogging up, but put me down for at least one for July ( I am trying for one in each month again) all on the binks spoon, and a ton of short bass.
  8. Jigging spoon or swim jig.
  9. I have enjoyed my Lew's tournament, and american hero. They are both 6:1
  10. Will there be an add, or banner ? I don't know how all that works.
  11. I am working to much, sound like you are having a great summer, how deep are they 25 ?
  12. Just awesome ! You would have definitely won with that catch !
  13. I've tried them on a jig in the evening, caught bass and channel, I haven't tried them in a while. I have never tried them on a bouncer. Hmmm have to try some stuff now.
  14. Wow ! Man that is great, very envious, and happy for you ! I guess the boat fishes well.
  15. Love those things ! Excellent customer service !
  16. I stay in the water or crawl through the roots with the snakes, thank you for the complement, it means a lot coming from you ! The water was low and dirty I couldn't see a thing, just feeling my way around. Try throwing the ned where you fish, let me know what happens.
  17. Looks like a nice night, sorry to hear about your secret spot, and I ordered the double cheeseburger and onion rings last time, wow you better be hungry for that plate !
  18. Casting, and snap jigging. I tried trolling it didn't work well this time.
  19. I don't recall how many fished it, the event raised $4000.00 for the center. It was a low stress event. There were some very good anglers there. 5 bass made 13.86 lbs, I don't even know how many crappie (those guys put the smack down on them) and then my little walleye catch 4 fish making a fuzz over 5lbs. That was the winners, I don't know how many other caught fish, they didn't really have place points, it was just an easy going way to raise some jack for some people who really needed it. I am happy that they let me compete
  20. That is one way to brake the boat in ! Nice catch, I love your boat, the rod locker is to die for !
  21. I still have a little editing to do, here is what I have so far, and some of my pictures. It was a great time !
  22. I have some stuff posted on this forum, along with many others, search walleye here, there is plenty
