Lilley's Lake Taneycomo fishing report, September 30

going to take my boat up there for the first time this weekend a little 16 foot fiberglass jon with a 50hp outboard will i be able to put in at the ramp closest to the dam or is the water to low to bring boats that far up looking at all the stuff online it seems like thats where props go to die -

i wear glasses every day but i play hockey 2 nights a week so i put contacts in...anyways has anyone sighted in there bow with contacts and only to realize that the next time your out shooting you are wearing glasses....after being at the range today it seemed like my shot was off a bit anyone ever have this problem just wanna hear some output???

gonna give it a go this morning and sneak in on a big buck i call "the horse" hes a legend in my parts hes almost just a big brown ghost about a 2 mile boat ride into a little creek from the missouri river to a secret spot i never stop thinking about....first bow hunt of the year lets hope the skeeters are not too bad....

my little cousin that passed away in january caught an 11pounder at loz when he was 12 yr old so he died when he was 18 so that was about 6 yrs ago he caught that monster it was in april my uncle said he threw like 20 lures at the fish and he fished for it for 2 days sight fished from below a dock

never did to well below the dam area i always liked staying on the lake personally if you dont mind hundreds of boats driving around u all day -
try lilleys landing they will educate you and sell you all the gear you need

nice report harris seems like keeper crappie on the lake are harder to come by than i remember hopefully ill get a limit next time im out there. my roommate my brother and i caught over 100 crappie 2 weeks ago there and only 2 or 3 were over 9 inches....i know those slabs are in there its just how do u get them to bite?

ill be back on sunday sold my truck so i cant pull my boat so im at the mercy of friends and family to pull my boat around hope my roomate(smallie seeker) gets me back out there
