i always like to cut a small paddle tail swim bait in half and use it as a trailer just for a little tail action on my spinnerbaits. usually i match the color of the skirt as well

when u say 20 fish is a rough day i guess things could be worse it takes me a whole month to catch 20 bass in st.louis 20 fish is a good day in my book

i fish arond st.louis where the missouri and mississippi confluence is and we catch alot of blues but those flat heads are hard to find there but one time i went to the rock and these guys were staying at the same resort as us and they put out 20 hooks on a trot line with bluegills and they caught over 100 pounds worth of flat heads in one night it was pretty impressive to see

i just got a go pro 4 silver i love it i started a youtube channel just for hockey fishing and hunting videos...subscribe to my channel should have a lot of new stuff from table rock and my spring turkey hunts on there soon

so dose anyone hunt the c.o.e property at twain iv heard theres alot of birds up there? i hunted it opening week like 5 yrs ago and didnt do to well. wonder what the turkey population is like there compared to a place like table rock

i dont fish at night to often but my go 2 night bait is a 6 inch curly tail worm made by gulp black and blue flake carolina rigged...works everytime

iv never hunted down there yet i live like 5 miles from st.louis so im just gonna wing it and try the spots i saw on google maps.i got other farms to hunt too just wanna be there for the smallie spawn ....id recommend reading the c.o.e maps so you can see your options the cow creek area looks good....i heard those birds are easy to find down there and theres alot of them so hopefully i can just tag out the first day and get back to fishing the rock for some big ole brownies

its nice to get those bonus fish i caught a big drum on a jig like 15 20 pounds a couple years back man those big drums can fight
