    Evidently so, they are right there when you take the cowling off. Will need to put boat on trailer to look at it better. But many thanks Wrench!

    Thanks wrench. They are plastic??? Went to a dealer last year. He said he would order the parts, still no parts. Any recommendations?

    I have a 2013 150 hp Evinrude on a ranger. When I bought it last year the inspecting dealer noted that both coil brackets were cracked or broken. We were in another state so he taped them up. Its been ok for a couple months but worry it could go bad anytime. Does anyone know if this is something I can fix myself or do I need mechanic?

    Agreed fish are moving around. I ran down to a secret hump I had been crankbaiting on Sunday at 6am. Found 2 boats there. Not as secret as I thought. They had no luck so I moved to the closest dock and caught a 3 lb on a wacky worm Then 2 shorts. all of a sudden everyone's on docks. Funny how that works.

    I switched a couple rods to 20 lb braid. used palomar knots and still broke off on hook set? I broke off once at the rod tip. My son noticed some thing wrong with the guide. He thought it was cracked it think it a groove worn in the guide? what am i doing wrong here. Love the feel but not loosing jigs.

    I had 2 limits last weekend near 35mm not many boats lots of crappie.

    Caught 20 bass on Friday, I've never caught 2 fish over 5 in one day. Caught 20 fish between 10 and 6 pm. All on shad colored crankbait.

    We had 8 crappie, largest 14", 10 small blacks, no keepers, and 10 white bass on a small crank bait. like 2" shad!

    I fished for 4 hours this morning. caught 4 shorts and 7 keepers. 2 on a jerk bait, 1 on a jig. The rest were caught on small crank bait. If you didn't hit the bank, you can't catch the fish. Crank it slow all the way to the boat. I was about hurricane bridge a few miles. largest around 5 in pic.

    Fellow Washintonian? Just bought a condo last fall and still learning the lake. good to know some else from here that goes to the lake. We need to get together and fish some time.

      OK will do. I live in washington on Huxel drive across from Modern Auto. . Have condo at 37MM. Ranger in slip there. My son from KC is there this weekend finding some fish. Do you fish any tournaments?

      no, I have never fished any tournaments, just never got into it with anyone, I just generally fish alone, have no kids and all my brothers are just creek fisherman, they are not interested in lake fishing, been out here 7 years, the wife and I dont know many people in this area,  I generally stay at play-port resort in shell knob,that is the only part of the lake I have fished, from baxter up into the white, I wouldnt mind learning other parts of the lake though just never had any reason to, I catch plenty in that area, we let me know if you want to get together sometime, come by or I will shoot on over, Steve

      i'm out here changing the lower unit lube now and just put a rebuilt starter on the merc 150, the old one got me through 20 years, not bad

    Back in the day 1985 ish. I had met Bill Norman at a charity tournament. I guess we hit it off cause he invited me down to his place and sold me plastic worm for $5 a pound. anything and everything. Great guy sad to see his company go;(

    Blacks were bank runners. Whites were between ,75 and 1.5 lbs

    Caught some whites and a couple blacks today at 39mm on shad rap crank.

    Just got off the lake at mm35 temp is 42 on lake 44 in back of coves.

    I caught this one at 37mm 2 weeks ago on spinner bait in 4' of water

    There is a buzzbait bite now. Caught 2 keepers Sunday morning. Rest on spinnerbait and jig.
