On the water a little later than I wanted. About 5:30. Caught this right off the bat. Caught em pretty good until the sun hit the water. Home by 9. The board is 23”. It was longer but a giant flathead broke it on the river this past spring. Bit a wart. A little green when I got in the boat. Made a mess.

Got up at 4 to lightening and I waited it out. Got on the water about 5:45. Nice cloudy rainy morning. Done by 8:30 when the sun poked through. Almost a triple 20” day.

I wasn't being snide. I was just wondering how you would bug out and use your knife against another person if you can't even go fishing. Seems like fishing is easier than that... No? As far as hordes. I thought I made it clear I don't buy into that. I just want to have enough things to get by in case of an emergency. You know, like a Boy scout. Be prepared.

I like fatty steaks. I eat all the fat too. I don’t care for grass fed and finished beef. Right now I Have a couple racks of pork STL spare ribs in the smoker right now. Seasoned with kicker chicken😁
