  1. Very cool!!! He looks excited. I see that area between the bridge and spillway worked out for you guys. Tell him, way to go. Pete
  2. Do it. I got a hundy for a small grizzly hackle with all of the small size hackles removed. It was standard blk and white. Lady told me if it was any other color she would've paid more. The furnace hackle I had cut in half for my daughters pumpkins fetched another $40. I think the smallest size left on it were for flies #8 or bigger. It was totally worthless to me. I put em on Craigslist here in town since I didn't want to fool with eBay. Pete
  3. I might not positive but I think there is a weight limit on those things..... Pete
  4. I'm working on it... Pete
  5. In my best Harry Caray voice. That youngster really put it to that ball. Back, back, back, back, look at the redhead in the halter top, back back back..... He hit that one into next week. Somebody get me a bourbon and water....burp Pete

  7. Man I hammered that one over the fence..... Pete
  8. Back in the old days of the forum (1995) there was an ongoing argument about people standing in the outlets at Taney and snagging fish. The same thing happened as it does today. Phil would have to get out the big red X and shut down the thread. So my online persona is that of a trout that was snagged in outlet 3 at Taney by some unscupulous trout fisherman. Actually more people snag fish in outlet 2 down there, but then it brings in a whole new avenue the name could take. If you know what I mean??? Not many people have an outlet 3. Pete
  9. Maybe you didn't look hard enough at those "crappy" flies you tie.... Man!!! I crack myself up.. Pete
  10. I'm not going wrong. My kids learn respect and proper social behavior at home. My kids often point out poor behavior in others. We're here just not many of us anymore. Pete
  11. Nice Dano!! Wish I could get out fishing. 6 or 7 weight, a 4 inch plastic lizard, drifted under an indicator. Unconventional but deadly. Fire away!! Pete FORE!!!
  12. Wow!!! Nice!!! Great picture too. Pete
  13. I wanted to avoid Ebay if I could. I just sold a small #2 grizzly for $80.00. Paid $16 for it. I'm leaning toward Ebay for the others. FORE!!! Pete
  14. As all I have to worry about is work. And that is almost day to day. I'd like to float around 5 miles so I have plenty of time to fish. Finishing at camp is preferred also. Pete
  15. Someone pass the tartar sauce please..... I've seen em bigger than that on Lake 33 at Busch. Samiich fish

  18. I doesn't sound like you need any tips. You pretty much have it wired. Nice!! Pete
  19. I caught more using them in flies than for hair fashion. Anyone want to give me $300 for a nice #2 grizzley hackle? FT57?? Pete
  20. I've had them listed for 8 hours, not even a nibble. Pete
  21. I hear ya Jim. I had a "discussion" wih a guy doing the same thing below the bridge a couple years ago. My daughter asked my wife why she had to hold my flyrod while daddy chased a car down the street in his waders. Daddy almost had a heart attack trying to run that fast. Pete
  22. Ya know. My daughter is 12 and she thinks the whole thing is goofy. I asked her how many of her friends are into it and she said none. She is a big fan of Idol BTW. Daddy wants a new a driver!!! Pete
  23. Thanks Mitch!!! Pete FORE!!!!
  24. Sorry, couldn't find this pic when I did the first post. Pete
  25. Anybody remember a post I did where my daughter used my old furnace hackles for indian pumpkin headresses? See Pic. She enteres them in a pumpkin contest and won. I actually tried to give these away last year. All that is left are sizes too big for cracklebacks and stuff. Now they are going on Craigslist and Snagged is eyeballing a new driver. Woohoo!!!!!!
