I've never liked fishing the spawn. Notheing to do with ethics or whatever. Sometimes they get so locked in on spawing they don't pay attention to anything else. My biggest bass have come form real early in the spring well before the spawn. Pete

I didn't go fishing Saturday because the weather guesser in a tight sweater said it would be in the 30's all day. I walk out the door around noon and it's alread 45. AAAGGHHH!!

I'm not sure how long they will hold water at Norfork but I would be on that right now. Because when they start running it will be a while before its off again. Man I wish I lived closer. Pete

I'd head over to Norfork, it's been off periodically for a couple days and today. I'd go upstream from handicap and dapple some dry flies. Start at the shoal up at the island and work my way down. Tan caddis, stimulator and a griffiths gnat is all you would need. Man I wish I was there. Pete
