  3. Good going MWG. Thanks for the report. That water's too hard for me. Maybe when it thaws I'll head back over. There are no fish at Busch anyway. SIO3
  4. Yep, that's the way I remember it from 15 years ago. SIO3
  5. Thanks everybody! I ordered a 16 row C&F from Cabelas with free shipping to the store. Since it was for nymphs and streamers it looked like it fit my needs. I'll let you know what I think when I get it. Thanks, SIO3
  6. After all these years of using plastic boxes and just throwing my flies all together in several compartments I want to get new boxes. I want it to be water proof, lightweight and good for nymphs and streamers. Fire away with what you guys think are best. Thanks, SIO3
  7. Man those are nice fish Bredman! Good report! See, I keep telling everyone there are no fish at Busch. Urban fishing at it's best! SIO3
  8. I hate to see them go but wish them good luck. Just like Phil, they provide a great service with the website and local knowledge. SIO3
  9. That's a cool pic Gavin! Looks like a good time. SIO3
  10. After reading the whole thing, it looks like he had to be told several times before he did anything. Thanks again Zack. I hope your casting gets better. SIO3
  11. Good!! These guys need to show some respect for the rivers and other people that use them. Thanks Zack.

  13. I live near St. Louis but my inlaws are in Leawood. Next time I'm there I'll have to check it out. You guys keep us up to date. Snagged
  14. I used clouser minnows in the surf. I fished early and late. I decided to fish the surf because, when I was snorkeling I saw baracuda and schools of jacks. I was fishing in front of the tiki bar while everyone was drinking. I would have done much better with a spinning rod and spoons because you can cast them a mile. A jig-head and grub would probably work too. I always walk up and down the beach wherever we stay and look for good looking areas. Rock piles, channels and grass beds are great places to fish. Even better if they are in the nude beach areas!!! Let us know how you do. SIO3
  15. The graph shows it's all shut down. http://www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil/WCDS/plots/WEB/bul.htm SIO3
  16. And there is your answer. SIO3 There are no fish at Busch I'm tellin ya!!!!!!
  17. You wouldn't think a trout could live when you drive it all the way from Meramec Springs? SIO3 There no fish at Busch!!
  18. Hey Letchie, welcome. St Charles here. I used a guy named Rodman Hunter. We had a blast catching baby tarpon well into the night. Even had a croc try and eat a fish I had on. His jaws were snapping and the guide was stabbing him in the head with the pushpole. My then, 6 year old daughter was climbing up my body screaming. As soon as we got the fish in the boat my wife and daughter wanted to go in. I've attached his site link and also another I found from a not so happy customer of his. http://www.cancunlighttackle.com http://www.edgeangling.com/forums/trip-sharing/1865-rodman-hunter-mexico-ripoff.html Let us know how you do. I also caught fish in the surf in front of our resort. SIO3
  19. Does anyone have a link? If so, post up, I'd like to see it. Now Terry's famous! SIO3 There are no fish at Busch!
  20. We used to fish when the display was going, but that was 5 years ago. That long display on the dam kind of got in the way of your back cast . SIO3 There are no fish at Busch!
  21. Nice Eric! I don't know if this still holds true but Tillis Park used to have a fountain and it kept the lake from freezing for a little while longer than the rest of the area. I haven't been there in quite a while since 40 was closed for 2 years. Maybe someone that lives near there can confirm? SIO3 There are no fish at Busch!
  22. You might need an ice pick to get at them. The lakes around here are frozen and since it's only a few miles to Busch I would assume they are too. Maybe Troutfishn knows for sure. Never heard of any smallmouth. That doesn't mean they aren't there. Check the lunker pictures, if one was ever caught it would be there. SIO3
  23. There's no fish at Busch!!!!!! SIO3
