    I’ve never used bait for trout. Sitting and soaking bait doesn’t appeal to me. People chum with corn but I don’t think browns go for that.

    Same story on the Frying pan. You gotta use mysis shrimp or nothing. I used a bugger on a sinking line and smoked em. Caught em on surf and turf too.

    Got out mid day in the rain and heavy fog. I love that kind of weather for fishing. 2 bites, 1 fish. I forgot to add, that you need to take off 2 to 3/10ths of a pound for the silicone portion of my net that I can’t clear when the fish is in it.

    Got out this morning at 5:30. Heavy fog and it felt like a big fish day. Fished for 2 hours. Nothing, nada. I think I finally wore out my spot. I hit a backup I’ve had luck at before. Nothing. I’ll get out and try and find some new ones. Keep in mind I’m looking for big browns not stockers. Might go catch some stockers just to feel better about myself. 😆

    When I was here a couple weeks ago a bunch of the trout I caught were pooping moss. Lots of it too.

    Got out today Monday 6/6 for 3 hours for an early lunch break. Lots of stockers and then they cranked it up from 100 mwh to 150. It got all trashy so I left. Nothing picture worthy.
