  1. I hope he makes it. Rolla is supposed to have the most rigorous math program of any school.
  2. I use Strava. Katy is flat and boring unless we ride into St Charles. Great for weekday lunch rides as a workout though. On the weekends we switch it up all of the place. In case nobody knows when you use google maps click the 3 menu bars in the upper left and click "bicycle" It will highlight all the trails in the view you are you looking at.
  3. I was strictly referring to the size of that beast... 😂
  4. She didn't want to do job site work like civil and did not want any factory or industrial work either. She'll follow her mom into the communications industry. She had a shot at an internship at Comcast but Covid ended that.
  5. Pictures or it didn't happen....😁 I can see you needing a sissy bar.
  6. Really bad if they call daaaa-d😂
  7. A land yacht😄 Townie Electra 7D that I added nylon inner tube liners too. Weighs a little over 35 pounds.... My family had a schwinn shop for years and as I've gotten older I don't like to be hunched over while riding. https://www.summitbicycles.com/product/electra-townie-original-7d-step-over-368609-1.htm?variations=582569,582834&gclid=CjwKCAjwps75BRAcEiwAEiACMbHkqdFJOizIUnDreqlFQ_x9rsRGHku4sSXYPj7GT-d64IBzhaihBBoCV84QAvD_BwE
  8. So glad you didn't say sheep...😂
  9. Craziest thing about Rolla. It was the first school she visited and said this is it. She wouldn't even visit another school. My wife was all sideways because she wanted do the college tour of schools but she wouldn't go. She's packing up this week to head back. She finished her major in 3.5 years (engineering management) and needs another year for her minor in Information Systems..
  10. 30 for us next year...
  11. That’s an elk not a deer😂
  12. That’s where this one was. Just south of the bridge. I’ve seen hundreds of non poisonous snakes. Ran over a ground hog too.
  13. Looks like nice crusty buttery edges on the potatoes
  14. Weekends we do15 each day. 4 weekdays 10 miles at lunch
  15. Started at 9. All chat no pavement.
  16. The Katy Trail generally runs parallel to Missouri River from down the street from my house to KC. I average 11 miles per hour and my best year is 2500 miles. I cover a lot of ground in remote areas. First one I’ve ever seen.
  17. My wife grew up in eastern Illinois 12 miles out of a town of a few thousand people or so. Now I can’t get her to move to bull shoals. 😂
  18. Ok I’ll answer but you’ve heard of brick chicken haven’t you? That was brick rump roast😁. 18’ on each side and 160 or so behind I love Costco and the local farm. I’ve been a suburbanite since the moment I was born. Bushes help.
  19. You’re gettin soft Marty. I don’t live in a city. Unincorporated St Charles county. Left STL county in 91.
  20. As a side note, Sunday my wife and I got our ride cut short by flooding that closed some of the trail so we went home and got trash bags and went back to pick up trash. We were crawling all over in the weeds around the parking lot. Now we stick to the chat lot...
  21. I'm two out of 3 and the third is a senior at Rolla with two summer jobs since internships got cancelled. So I'm thankful because I've seen what @fishinwrench is talking about.
  22. Yeah I just hit the local farm down the street. Grown in the Missouri bottoms...Yum
  23. Our community is golf cart friendly so everyone wants them. $7800 will barely get you in decent used one. Much less a lifted custom one.
