  1. I’ve apologized to a fish over the years but I’ve released thousands more with no harm.
  2. @Al Agnew we decided to go in 2021. We are going to do the Badlands on the way up. How long should we allot for that? Then we are going to stay in Emigrent or Gardiner for fishing a few days. Followed by a 5 day stay Old Faithful Lodge with guided tours and meals included. The tours are concentrated in the north end of the park. Any other recommendations? We will have 14 days to work with.
  3. I’ve seen this before like a train in a tunnel. 😁. Please continue, @fishinwrench is ready. Crank baits and stick baits really put the hurt on em.
  4. I'll add. Don't use a boga grip.
  5. Especially since they make a 40 jet.
  6. The 60 jet is 60 at the nozzle (90/60) with a 90 powerhead and the 60 HO is 40 at the nozzle (60/40) using the same 90 powerhead. They could not make it more confusing.
  7. From the Jet Doctor: The 60 Jet is their 90 hp motor that comes from the factory with a jet so it’s rated 60 hp The 60 HO comes with a lower unit that is a 90 hp that’s been de-tuned to a 60 hp with a prop we take the HO and remove the lower unit and install a Jet so it’s a 40 hp jet which is legal to run
  8. Edit: Cowtown pulls them off too. And they know the difference in the motors. Which is rare apparently..
  9. I have too. Good luck!
  10. Cowtown gets them with the jet pump on them from the factory but the other's don't.
  11. Okay to clear things up here is the link to the motors with displacement #'s. https://www.evinrude.com/en-US/e-tec/e-tec-full-specs.html#tab=7 Here is the link to the 60 HO on the 90 power head. https://www.evinrude.com/content/dam/evinrude/Global/MY2020/Documents/outboard-specs/ETEC-60-HO-Outboard.pdf I don't want to call out any dealers but they should look at this before they start trying to tell you what's up....And they are wrong! Some even say they don't make the 60 HO. Crazy and confusing at the same time.
  12. Looks like Beave is shut down too. Wish I could get down there...
  13. That’s awesome! Post up some pictures please.
  14. Dude you shoulda called me! I would never let you go without beer!
  15. If you go to that link it looks like the props have different gears. Also note the displacement for the 60 is the same as the 50 (53 CI). The displacement for the 60 HO is (79 CI). So the 60 HO is different. Thanks guys!!
  16. I always thought is was a something to do with pre spawn hormones' or something.
  17. What does that mean??
  18. Certainly makes sense to me. There is a definite difference between the HO and not.
  19. I saw that for props but didn’t know if it applied to the jet series. Thx!
  20. Are they better eating?
  21. So is there a difference in the HO and the non-HO badged motors??
  22. Btw not so easy for me mercury are short shaft and Evinrude are long.
  23. I have a buddy looking at them and I might price it out too. They are running a 7 year warranty deal. why do some say HO on the cowl and others just say 60? Hoping @Seth or @LittleRedFisherman might know.
