We just bought our first yak and my son is having a blast with it...you can literally launch them ANYWHERE. Rigging it out has been fun as well, we have spent some good time together both in the garage and on the water. He found all kinds of neat ideas online we have added a PVC rod rock that mounts in the existing recessed holders behind the seat, stainless clasps for better tie downs and carrying, he made his own leashes out of weedeater line and a really nice milk crate storage tote he straps behind the seat that holds a lot. The thing has more storage than I think you could ever need on a yak. Next he wants to add an anchor trolley, it will be going to Florida with us soon.

Kinkaid is in awesome shape, not as clear as usual for this time of year from lightly stained green lower end to pretty dirty in the upper end...something for everyone. Fishing has been phenomenal all spring it has taken well over 20lbs to win most bass tourneys.

As much as 10" of rain has fallen in 24 hours in a large area south of St Louis. Big River has risen almost 20' overnight in spots.

Another plug for the Tatulas ( I use the Type R)...not sure there's a better quality reel for the money on the market. I fished with a friend yesterday and I was skipping senkos and flukes way under docks and branches and he had never seen that and didn't even think it was possible with a baitcaster.
