We Were down last Thursday-Sunday and killed em on a Neko rig. Watermelon Seed Ocho. Nothing huge but we were catching them shallow and deep. there is a bluff maybe half mile up from the big bridge on your left had side we caught 15 smallies off of in 30ft.
I'm a Braid guy with a fluro leader on spinning set ups. I really like the #20 Hi-Viz Power Pro with #8 Sunline Assassin Leader. I like the sensitivity of the braid a lot.
I didn't know they made them agree to recreational use prior to granting permits. if that's the case than yeah it's crap. But i was just thinking for fishing. it would be better than nothing at all and wasting a nice 1500 acre lake.
I think they ought to make it like lake Eucha in oklahoma south of Grand. The city of Tulsa uses it for their water supply. They Charge like $5 a day or have a season pass for $27 and don't allow swimming in the lake. I feel like that could be a good compromise.
